    Great mod. Will this conflict with Pack Attack NPC Edition?

      doubt it, more likely to conflict with PACE , using both + shield tactics and seems a bit janky , when they link with player controls it mostly works great, amazing with Uneducated Shooter + 3rd to 1st person ADS mods, however it seems if i dont link before their AI starts engaging in melee combat it doesnt seem to work so well. not sure if this is how it functions with vanilla AI but thats my biggest issue with this mod despite absolutely loving it. if the mod author or someone could make a patch/tweak to make it so when you activate the hotkey/command that it disables their combat AI until you unlink (shares player controls anyway so u can still move/throw grenade/melee on command, controlled) , in skyrim you could do individual combat ai on/off via console commands (tcai), but in fo4 it just seems to do all.

    Best mod ever. The shield part is cool and all but found it kind of janky when trying to navigate the shitshow that is Bethesda's interiors. The best use for this mod however is give the ring to Preston, equip him with some heavy armour so he doesn't flop over immediately and make him stand in front of you, makeshift Minuteman human shield ready to die for his general.

    So...how do I "leave cover" anyway ? I didn't see anything mention able how to turn companion back in normal after order them to "take cover", but no one seen to ask about this either. Did I miss any infor of this or there is simply just no a feature of this.

      Agreed if there's an option to leave cover this mod would be close to perfect

      Holstering your weapon leaves cover, as it makes the companion holster theirs and thus ending the effect.

    Not sure if this happens with anyone else but the pipboy disappears on occasion and i can't back out of it.

      Dont know if you still need help but this happens on occasions in modded games just save and reload and you should be all good, If this does not work you most likely have a conflict

    When equip the sield and the ring it hold it like a rifle, any way to solve it?

    when i equip the ring to my companion, their weapon animations changes to mine which are the animations from MCGfemalewalk, then the shield will be held like a rifle, any way to avoid this?

    I love this mod so far. Is it possible to create a "Release" button or make hotkey toggle cover/release? Sometimes gets stuck behind cover. Thanks!
