This brings back illness to Life in The Ruins. And the great med system in which there is a med for each illness that cures it rather than just antibiotics for all that gives resistance. They can be crafted and should also be purchasable from merchants and doctors. Also adds a Serum which is a combo of all and gives strong resistance for a long period.
I also brought the production of purified water back through water filters in settlements as dirty water contributes to illness. It cannot be crafted, as I like that feature being removed. Irradiated water can be purified, but it cannot simply be boiled (unless it is distilled).
I may change more disease features, but that could be in another mod that just effects vanilla values.
Should be save game compatible, but if there are issues try a new game first.
There is also an optional version that excludes the change to allowing purified water to be deposited in the settlement workbench. Choose one, not both This is under optional files
If you don't want any illness but want the settlement to be able to produce purified water again there is an optional file for just that also, which is a standalone. This is under optional files and DOES NOT require the "required mods."
Please do let me know if there are any issues.
Thanks to the many mod authors and Whisky for compiling, curating and even creating content himself.
ps. I'd recommend changing some survival illness settings in SCM in the MCM. You might not like that getting hit by certain creatures can cause infection etc...
