    It's not working for me. My double barrel shotgun still has to fire twice to be empty and an automatic weapon like my automatic pipe rifle didn't consume 2 ammo per shot. All it does is drop one ammo on the floor after reloading.

    I'm just really disappointed. Especially since the inaccuracy penalty is still there.

    I was really hoping for a mod that properly makes my double barrel shotgun consume 2 shells in one shot.

      It drops ammo on the ground when you reload?
      I never saw that in my testing.

      As for the mod not working at all, i really don't think that's likely, many others have confirmed it is.
      Does the ammo in your inventory NOT get halved when you equip the weapon?

      I should mention that this mod isn't intended to make shotguns fire both barrels, and I believe there is already a mod for that.
      This mod is for the weapon Legendary Effect, Two-Shot, and nothing else.

      EDIT: turns out there was an issue with dropping ammo on firing the weapon, it just didn't affect the ammo in the inventory so I didn't notice

    What happens if your gun only has 1 bullet in the mag? Does it just not fire?

      If you fired it until it would say there's only one shot, then it will fire. If you only had one round to begin with before equipping it, then you are correct and it will not fire.

    Well done. This particular legendary effect has always bugged me. Other's have mentioned 'Big boy'...and I myself have totally dismissed the notion of using it on say: the double barreled shotgun. Maybe another mod that just renames it something that doesn't cause me to have an OCD mental disconnect trying to sort out how I can accomplish suspension of disbelief with something so outrageous like: it just magically adds another projectile. Violent and Powerful effects are better implemented. More damage equals more recoil...I can understand that, but Harry Potter flies in and drops another Mini Nuke off is just insulting low energy nonsense.

      I see this mod as both an immersion fix and a way to balance the two-shot effect, because to me: going through ammo twice as fast is much better(balance-wise) than a minor recoil increase

    In real life... "two shot" effect is achieved by using duplex ammo, not by the gun using two rounds.

    So where does the ice or fire or plasma come from? Nowhere. Two shot uses two bullets or you could just pull the trigger twice.

      Are you asking me to do those as well, or are you saying that because these things are also dumb that nothing should be changed?

    so.. how does this fare with big-boy? xD mini-nukes are usually found one by one

      Should work the same, you'll be required to have 2 mini nukes in order to use it. I didn't mess with the mirv tho

    Hey, excellent idea! Does this still work if there are multiple two-shot legendaries in yr inventory?

    Would it be possible for you to make the laser and plasma guns to consume 2~3 energy/plasma ammo for every shot?

      I don't really see why you would? Unless they also get the Two-Shot effect, in which case this mod should do that just fine.

      but yes it's possible to do that
