Its 2021 and its working just fine. I Highly recomment to use Wrye bash and turn this .esp to esl flaged .esp It won't take places from esp limit. Just check your PERK ID, For me its FE076800.
Hello I'm using level up menu x mod along with be exceptional mod, got my explosives up to 30 as soon a I could a on a new play thru and no arc from hats skill Tried this, main file , no green arc regardless what grenade I use, tried the stand alone , still no arc... Neither one is working this time for me ..... =( No amount of trouble shooting , will bring up arc at all =/ Nvm what a .. , I hadnt actually taken the hats perk, it was highlited yet but not actually choosen gah
I'm starting to get the same thing and its a first for me , have alway had the arc as of rank 2 just noticed recently it keeps vaniahing, ..? I hve anough perc points its still not showing, I tried console removing saving reloading gave myself teh perk back and have it for 2-4 shots then it disapears again, so going download this and see if its a fix, ( and yes I know this is an old post )
Well it fixed it for me Yay, I have my green arc back , I dont know why it kept vanishing or what mod could possibly be the cause, but this fixed it for me , even with demo r2 I had for a couple of shots before it vanished again, so this did fix it for me so Thank you R3g
@jaderiver : Salutations... This did not fix my problem. Did you do anything special or extra? All I did was install & then use the Console Command player.addperk XX000800 (But of course used my Load Order number in place of XX, which was listed when I did the console command help "grenade arc" 4).
For me; my Arc just seems to not work in Caves. Or at least this one. When I leave the cave my Arc returns. Go back in? Aaand BUPKIS!!! But it did work when I first entered the cave then after about a 1/2 hr. exploring, it disappeared.
Yeah the I noticed doesn't work indoor or inside anywhere but it works great outside , I also use a blink mod which use a grenade style to get around so that arch is important for that too
UPDATE: So I D/L'd the Main File, uninstalled & permanently deleted the Standalone from NMM & then installed the Main File. GRENADE ARC STILL GONE! This DID NOT fix the issue & I'm not someone that uses other Grenade Mods! However in searching for a fix for my arc, I did discover & D/L the following & IT'S AWESOME!!!Seismic charge plasma grenade explosion sound effect. I downloaded the Standalone. Help Command brings up the .perk id, perk id enters normally in console: DOES NOT Bring back the Visible Grenade Arc!
Going to try the Main File. In the immortal words of the Terminator: "I'LL BE BACK"...
I started a quest inside a Cave & the arc was present then just vanished! I KNOW there's a way to fix this in the console but without picking the brains of the games creators it's not listed in any Console Command Dumps I've been able to find.
Just a thought, would it be possible for you to make a separate mod that adds this sort of trajectory arc to weapons that have projectile drop e.g broadsider and fat man? Maybe only when iron sighting to prevent it from getting in the way all the time. I love the fat man, but i always end up screwing up my trajectories and overshooting/undershooting, and having this sort of effect for that would be super handy.
Only if you rep up the .esp file, go into "Actors > Perk > DemolitionExpert##" and change the parameters there. Removing "Show Grenade Trajectory" entirely will for sure remove respectively the arc on your character.
