Hi. There are actually three problematic textures in Natural Landscapes:

CommonwealthDefault01 - which you fixed with the materials file
RiverbedSilt01 - which you fixed by using vanilla textures
ForestFloor01 - which is missing in your fix

An example of the forest floor texture can be found between Red Rocket Station and Abernathy Farm. On the hill (near the water tower) is a half buried boss chest. The world around the chest has a "hole" if you use Natural Landscapes, since the mod texture is transparent and the vanilla texture is not.

I usually fix all three files by overwriting them with the vanilla textures, but i like your fix more since i can actually keep the dirt texture of the mod. Maybe you have an idea how to fix the mod forest texture in a way that i don't have to use vanilla textures? :D

Do u have any clue what the reason is for that "stretched textures ?

Not sure. Feels most likely like some mesh related issue with stretched UV mapping and wouldn't be related to texture per say.

Does this mod fix the floating quarry ground textures?  It's like I was walking through fog and my player went underneath this white ground texture.  Just curious since it's not really dirt.

Not sure, it fixes the dirt and the riverbed stuff, but doesn't affect collision though, just how it looks.

Ok cool, thanks.  I installed it and tried it out and it fixed whatever was glitching at thicket excavations.  I had Natural Landscapes installed by itself without any issue but don't remember going to the quarry while having it installed.  The dirt fix fixed it though for whatever reason.

Maybe it was another texture mod I had but who knows.  Thanks!

Is there any downside for changing the material alpha property?

BTW RiverbedSilt textures also have alpha issues in Natural Landscapes.

Vanilla texture for the material didn't have any alpha to utilize, and meshes that uses the material assumes no alpha from what I've found so far (even an SS2 plot had issues with this). As far as I've found so far there haven't been any downsides to changing the alpha.

Will take a second look at the RiverbedSilt when I get a chance. Knew of that as well (or well, had a small note stuffed away about it being bad), but didn't find any alpha in the material at first glance, hence why I decided to skip it for now. If/when I track down that one I'll share the fix!

For Riverbed, I removed the alpha from RiverbedSilt01Decal.BGSM, RiverbedSilt01Decal_8Bit.BGSM & RiverbedSilt01WetDecal.BGSM. Feel free to do the same and upload it if you like.

@Aurelianis Thanks for the tip. That was driving me nuts seeing the egg clutches at the castle. Looks much better now ;)

      Thanks for your patience guys.

So the reason why it took a while was because I wanted to make sure I got the best possible solution in. And honestly while better, I didn't like the "No Alpha" fix for the Riverbed Silt.

So I added a "Vanilla Texture" option that just restores the vanilla textures. Resolution is the same so shouldn't be a difference in quality.

((Personally I'm using the "Vanilla Textures".))

After seeing the pics, I agree that restoring the vanilla looks better. Thanks for the fix!

Maybe its the preview but I think it looks better before the fix >.> theres more variety in the ground and your fix introduces a few "seams" in the dirt.

Perhaps it's a bad angle, but the visible part of the dirt is floating above ground without the fix.
Added another before picture to clarify what's being fixed.
    2. Uhm, you sure you aren't mixing up the before and after photos lmao

Thank you so much for this! Was wondering about it since it was reported as a known issue in the original mod :D
