I (think i..) solved the problem with the spawn of floating receivers (tested for a few hour without problem). I can't explain everything i did because english isn't my mother language and i'm not a skilled modder (sometimes even i dont understand things i do, but if it work, i just don't touch it anymore). I don't have any permission to post modified version of the remington m11.esp but my only intention is to help everybody who have that problem, so i will post it here. If this modder or the original creator of the remington m11 doesnt like, i will delete. I'm not seeking for glory and fame, and i'm sorry in advance.
This file replace the combat shotgun and it contain my personal modifications since my only goal is for personal usage. These modifications are: Speed: 1.0 -> 1.2 Reload speed: 1.0 -> 1.5 Attack delay: 0.425000 -> 0.25 Capacity: 6 -> 7 Weight set to 4 Damage set to 70 Stagger set to large Animation reload seconds: 7.031250 -> 5 Number of projectiles set to 9 Override projectile set to ProjectileShotgun [PROJ:0001F674]
Removed the option to change ammo type and the damage modifier (gun creators love to add this and i will never understand it, it feels like cheat).
Added the missing fast trigger receiver.
My receivers follow this "line" of damage evolution: Light +5% damage, heavy +15% damage, better criticals +25% damage... and each consecutive receiver increase the damage in +10% until reach the max of +75% (the same as vanilla).
The requeriments to build receivers are gun nut and rifleman.
So I have had this weird problem with this mod. The shotguns spawns fine on raiders and such and I can pick them up but after an area change or a reload they become floating recievers and until I restart my game every other shotgun I find will be a floating reciever. i dont know if I did something wrong but I really cant remove the mod now cause it will break all shotguns in the game. I am also running tactical reload, BCP, and True damage but I doubt it has anything to do with that.
I believe if you run that weapon through a weapon workbench it should fix the problem. And after uninstallation if you wait for 3 in game days the new vanilla weapons should spawn just fine.
Nothing seems to overwrite the esp, but it always spawns as just a receiver (without stock or barrel). When adding a weapon through the console, everything seems to work fine, I get random modifications with the gun.
Went to DC (first time in this save so no preexisting weapon should be there) and vendors have the same issue with Remingtons, only the receiver is visible in their stock :(

It was completely modable, just needed stock and barrel to be attached so as not to look stupid. Then, I started noticing at vendors that all shotguns were just a receiver. Spawned some of them via console - nothing weird. So as you've advised, I've got another buggy Remington, modified at the workbench, went to a DC, and still Arturo only has floating receivers.
Due to the nature of FO4's Engine the spawned weapon will have broken body, But can be fixed if you run'em through weapons workbench. The new spawns will have updated weapons.
