The upcoming animation update will be the last one for this mod, I'm working on a remaster with better animations, models and textures. the remaster is currently a side project until my Secret Service Armor recreation is finished and released. I don't have any more specific information about the release yet, real life is a bit busy, but I'm planning on releasing my Secret Service Armor at the end of this month, which means the Screaming Eagle remaster could be finished in about 2-3 months
With the latest update most of the skins are removed from the main file, only the wood, black and green polymer skins remain in the main file, the weapon still spawns in exactly the same way as described just without any matching skins. As a small drawback, all removed skins must be reapplied to existing weapons. I recommend waiting three ingame days after installing the latest update, this resets the npcs inventories and gives them weapons with the working skin.
Hello, I really like this mod but there's only one thing that I don't like. Is there a way to remove the tracer and bullet smoke trail...I tried using FO4edit but I'm fairly new to it and I couldn't find anything related to tracers and the mod I have to remove tracers doesn't seem to remove the tracers from this gun, and it's loaded before this mod. Either way I really like this mod and if there is no way to remove the tracers that's ok, still gonna use this mod :)
I modded the unique screaming eagle to look as close to the carbine rifle in grand theft auto 3 as possible and of all theAR Family weapon mods this is the closest I got to a M16 Shooting .308. Would recommend but would love more options to look like a M16.
Wish this was just a little more common at higher levels as many times the Combat Rifle overtakes this awesome gun. I get it's supposed to be rare though.
Loving the rifle so far. Very well done. This is my favorite service rifle. It's simple and to the point. I want to mention two small issues I'm having. The Screaming Eagle does not have a unique skin like it did in previous version. It appears the same as a regular one. Also, when firing either as a semi-auto or full-auto,about every third or fourth explosive round is going off at the muzzle. Almost like the round hits a random invisible wall that is right in front of you. I first noticed it on the screaming eagle,so I took a regular one and added explosive effect to it using LEO and it did the same thing, just a little more random than the unique. I don't know if it is causing my character to take damage as I was running god mode to do some testing, but it is a little distracting. Not sure if anyone else has had these issues or if it's a problem on my end. Thank you for your work on this mod. It is my go to marksman's rifle, and will be in my load order for a long time . Edit: I downloaded the new update you posted and that fixed both issues I was having. Thank you so much!

A little teaser for the remaster:
I'm using FO4R - Gun Sound Overhaul - FO4R and wonder if that somehow will mess with the sound for this mod?
