    Just a note if you have the Unofficial Fallout Patch by Arthmoore along side with this mod, the starting S.P.E.C.I.A.L points will be 33 instead of 40. So if you want the full 40 point, you'll have to disable the Unofficial Fallout Patch if installed.

      Instead of disabling the Unofficial Fallout Patch by Arthmoore you could open both mods in FN4Edit and over write the patch with this mod.

      isn't that suppose a thing? 7 allocated firstly by 1 in each special category and 33 are points that you want to spend on ?

    Only 10k [unique] downloads on this mod??!
    That feels like a crime, honestly lol. It works perfectly, so that doesn't have anything to do with it, but I just can't imagine any other reason this 2015 mod didn't blow up at the time. 
    Just the blanket, wide-reaching utility factor of it alone should've been enough to get it 100k downloads, because off the top of my head, I can think of all kinds of reasons that any number of different types of players might be interested in downloading this one. Oh well I guess hahaha.   

    But really, thank you VaBhodi! This was just what I needed <3

    I always hated the fact that the Sole Survivor only has 28 points (21, technically) to allot into S.P.E.C.I.A.L. because the Lone Wanderer has 33 points that can be allotted (as each stat must have at least one point). It makes no sense for a 19-year-old to be better off at the beginning of the game than the Sole Survivor despite the fact that the latter is either a combat vet or a lawyer. This mod will be very beneficial in rectifying the mistake may FO4 players (myself included) feel that Bethesda made.

    Gonna give this a try. I think this will become one of my must-have mods for all playthroughs.

    Unfortunately I could not get this mod to work for me. I have the unofficial fallout patch in my load order so maybe that's why. On my next play through I will try disabling that mod until exiting the vault to see if I can get this one to function for me. Load order verified through LOOT and everything else seems to be running properly. I will post an update after trying out my little experiment.

    No need to worry if someone else has already done something similar. There are tons of similar but not identical mods on the Nexus. Your mod does something of the same thing as this mod - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3942/?. Although that mod includes starting perks, I think I like your SPECIAL-only approach better, plus it doesn't require using different ESPs for different characters.

    One point - in the other mod, if you redistribute SPECIAL points before you leave the Vault, you lose the points added by the mod. I am about to restart the game again because of new mods (this one included) so I'll check to see if the same is true of your mod. If not, that would make your mod definitely better imo.

    Edit: I have checked and the final SPECIAL screen before you leave the vault does indeed use your mod's points. It even adds the extra points to a save made with the original point system, so it works flawlessly in all scenarios. Nice job!
