Any ways to make night more darker? or your weather mod has support with old mod like Darker Night?

you can change the enb eyes adaptation settings for night to make it darker but not by a ton by default the max is set to -2 which makes it slightly brighter changing it to something like 2 or 3 instead would probably do the trick  as well as changing the min brightness to your liking (btw there's is a slight delay when you adjust the eyes adaptation so that it doesn't just flashbang you and stuff so if the changes takes a few seconds to take affect that's normal)

but no a mod like darker night would break my weather mod since it would overwrite not just night time brightness but everything else about the weather

how did you resolve the over exposure Institute?

??? well funny you should ask this morning i remembered that i haven't tested the institute in a while and yes it is over expose idk why yours isn't, i didn't edit anything  where it comes to the institute and when i tried this morning well it didn't work so... at least what i though were maybe the weather for the institute
well if you want to solve it you have to enable the origial game adaptation in the enbseries menu which is suppose to be off by default btw but this should only be done for this area since most area were made with the  enb's eye adaptation in mind or you can always tweak the enb adaptation to your taste

In order to install RTGI I still need to pay the patreon of Pascal Gilcher right?
May I ask, did you tweak nacx setting? Or you leave brightness... at default?

the  rtgi presets that were there in 1.051 yes although there are some alternative that are free now a days and well it's for rtgi 0.36.1 which is probably very old by now and to be honest it only really boosted the visual by a 5%-10% back then (the only picture in the screenshot of the mod that had it on was the thumbnail of the mod) , added new visual artifacts and cut the framerate by half  or 2/3

and no before you ask i will not be supporting rtgi going forward with the next update, i was initially going to but after  i tested and tested time and time again and with the new wip version of the enb which uses my own weather mod the boost in visual is at best 2% better but like there is some new artifacts that where not there before and to kinda (but not really ) get rid  of them well even my oc 4090 is like bro wtf do you expect to look like there enough sample to fix all that noise even at 4096x2160 the only resolution were it wasn't that annoying was using dsr 8192x4320  or dldsr 2.25x that one wasn't all that bad to

basically the last build i tested at the time which was the latest (iMMERSE_Pro_2403 i think at least it's the most recent one i have in my reshade shaders and marty's patreon stuff i think it's like rtgi 0.50 or 0.51) was just not worth the performance cost for this game with my enb, older dx9 games tho it's usually a very different story

yes you shouldn't have to tweak brightness just enable nacx enb thing although be aware that nacx as an issue with the way it does image spaces which bugs the eye adaptation so some part of the game will sometimes get super over expose due to time of day change and there is nothing i can do about that since it's a nacx issue and not an enb or reshade one which in why i am making my own weather so it doesn't have that issue and more customization  and it also is more performance friendly (not much but still)

but rtgi will honestly just not be necessary plus i will have to update the god damn preset every time there's an update yeah naw..... even with  the current build of my enb if you don't already have ver 0.36.1 or if you have another (just make your own preset if you absolutely want that) just don't bother  and save that money for something else if it's just for fallout 4

      Thanks for the replied.
One more request, I noticed that most of the realistic enb out there like prc x, your mod... The night vision does not work. Could you make a patch for them?
      The one I'm using

i just checked it seems that is cause by enb series eye adaptation although making a patch hmmm... idk ver 1.051 of my enb used the default enb series eye adaptation and the new one i am working on uses a modified version of that  and seems to also have the same issue, but making a patch i have no idea how exactly for the night vision

enb series doesn't have a function for making an if / else for one specific object from the game , i guess you can put the adapt Max brightness Night in the Night section enbadaptation.fx at -1.00 or -2.00 that doesn't fix the issue but makes it not as bad although it makes the night brighter which for nacx is fine since they can be quite dark or you could use the eye adaptation from the vanilla game but it will look so bad because it wasn't made with this in mind ,yea put the max night brightness at -1 or -2  of the eye adaptation and that should do it even tho that will have the side effect of making some night weathers brighter

I saw reactor enb somehow made a patch, but thats ok because your enb are still look firee without that NV mod.

just tested those reactor patchs for nv that you talked about, it seems that the mod dev changed the effects settings of the nv which i meaaaaaaan.......
it's one way to "fix" i guess but at the and of the  day he changed the effect of the night vision so that it works fine but the effect is no where near as intense

oh and yes btw the patch  does "technically" work with my enb since it's just something that changes value for the perks and the xm2010 does work for my enb since he didn't change weather values although it probably won't completely fix the issue so i would still say increase the max night brightness to -1 or -2

the current build yes(ver1.0.51) next version no it has it's own custom weather because of consistency and the eye adaptation isn't bugged and other stuff oh and it should also be a bit more performance friendly (1-2fps at best for the weather ) although where it comes to the enb postpass shaders have all be rewritten most of then 3 to 4 time so that i could make them as performance friendly as possible , there are new shaders, oh and also build 1.0.51 sharpening shaders values were accidentally inverted although(so if the current build by default looked kinda weird that why) now theres a new sharpening shader although it's not 100% finish yet , depth of field is no longer the one that comes by default with enb series among many other things

basically next version is going to be more performance friendly by just a bit with but still more consistent and have more options and shaders to play around with although there will be less weather so less variety because nacx uses some weather which were never meant to be used like god rays testing weather and some of them could be quite buggy , although next build colors , contrast and saturation will slightly different because well it's not the same weather and i also try to make sure that blacks don't get completely crush because nacx does that by default with some of it's image space values

the two new files that i have just added yesterday are stuff that are finish that i would have included with build 2.0 but it the end i just decided to upload them already since there are finish there are an updated cubemap and an alternative to the taa ini tweak that i made

i can't see your pictures without having to disable my security stuff so am not going to check them  but do you have the "NACX CUTE ENB RESTORE SKIN COLOR TO DEFAULT" patch on ?

Because by default nacx changes the skin color and that patch puts them back to vanilla it's in the "NACX CUTE ENB God Rays Tweak and RESTORE Underwater DOF and Skin color to default.rar" file which is in the " 2. Install with mod Orginsazer [ MO2 or Vortex ]" folder

did you enable the nac enb patch in the nacx mcm ?
if you did and it's still not good change the settings in the enbadaptation.fx (min, max etc.. there is a section for day night and interior) and the nacx mcm as a interior overwrite option that you may want to disable or change  or you can also try the UseOrginalAdaptation which will use the original eye adaption although i really don't recommend it

here's a video if you need help (might take a bit for the resolution tho):

? 0.9.1 isn't the latest build of RTGI it's 0.50.0 (unless your talking about another rtgi shader because now multiple people have made one the ini that i made are for marty mcfly aka the original rtgi )but when ver 1.1 is ready yea it will be updated
