Finally, a "homemade" gun that looks like actual craft-produced firearms should. It's simple, and not particularly elegant, but it's also functional and clean. No extraneous greebles, bent parts, mismatched screws, or sights held on with wires.
This was made by a machinist who knew what they were doing, and settled for "good enough."
Woo! I'll take anything that can serve to replace the awful pipe guns. I like craft-produced-looking guns. The pipe guns are not craft-produced; they're rusted heaps of random parts that couldn't work.
I mostly still play this game occasionally to look at new mods, like any new worldspace and quests El Ha (Zorkaz) uploads, but new weapons are neat, too. Next to its quests and dialogue, I think the weapons are Fallout 4's weakest points, so anything that improves them without copying shiny, modern guns from every other shooter out there is great.
Yeah I understand what you're saying that's why most of the mods that I make are either fun-based or their sci-fi based. I'm not a huge fan of a lot of the modern weapon mods, plus there's enough people out there to make those. I just make whatever strikes my fancy and that I will actually use in my own game. But it's a pretty eclective mix. I mean I've got Star Wars stuff and Warhammer 40K stuff, and stuff from anime and manga, and stuff that looks like it could have been made in a post-apocalyptic world. So yeah everything I make is pretty eclectic but I don't really care. I just make stuff I like. Lol
