Saving humankind from themselves is the Brotherhood's whole thing, baby~!

      Thanks for the video. :P
I agree with Maxon in nearly everything and even wish for a "Synth Hunter" mod.
I dislike people like the Institute and Dimma that kill, manipulate and betray and are offended if someone point them as "bad guy". They act from the shadows reasoning they are in position to do its nefarious actions because they are superior and the end justify the means. But they are just selfish people that act in is own personal interest and care nothing about humanity. Just like in RL.
BoS is frontal, sincere and brutal, that's why I choose them always.
      Sorry for my english.

I can relate to your position, but I disagree on certain points.

The ends do indeed justify the means. If I always behave perfectly morally myself, then that limits me and my options. Morality is pure maths. Creating a little suffering is moral if you, by doing so, prevent a big suffering. If you let great suffering happen just because you want to appear perfectly moral yourself, then you are being selfish. Your own reputation is less imporant than real problems that affect people's health and safety. Sometimes you look immoral when you're actually doing the right thing in a larger perspective.

They don't necessarily have to be selfish and act in their own interest. I think that's an easy to make statement, but what is the Institute trying to achieve for itself? There is no personal gain from infiltrating the Commonwealth. I really think they initially had some interest in the greater good and then went astray. I am from Germany and politicians here are mostly incompetent, but I seriously believe that they try to do good things and just fail in doing so. Political parties are not hive-minds, there are certain things that can't be controlled by individuals.

Not sure about answer because I m already got banned from several sites, some, like reddi, dont even allow me to write because a bot detect "inappropriate"  sentences.
If you dont mind we can discuss in another page or private message. Not sure if private message are controlled :p
I like discuss about morals, its fascinating, but I want to preserve this acc if possible.

Good to see some depth. The atomic image might be better served by the hydrogen icon, if you ever read Watchmen.

Interesting. Will take a look, as the lack of thought about the Institute always annoyed me.

Even if we disregard anything past 1945, they could have used the original Luddism, the "Darwin among the Machines" 1863 article or the 1872 book by Samuel Butler. Tesla's views on things could have spiced the Institute a bit as well.  Even Ibn Khaldun's writings or the pragmatic inclusiveness of the Roman Republic could be applied, if we consider the Institute as the state and the wasteland as the tribes/barbarians which can or should be assimilated.

And... there it is!  TYVM!  Mod authors never cease to amaze me.

Now, on to figuring how to integrate this with Subversion + Father Companion + Marked for Termination...
    ... and thuggyverse/PV
... and the rest of my idiosyncratic lo.

Also, thanks for the Antibiotic Pills.

Interesting & interested... but I'm at my .ba2 limit.
Any chance for a loose files version?

Or can I just unpack the .ba2s?

I didn't know there's even such a thing as a .ba2 limit. Is that only the case on consoles? The loose files version should be available any moment.

No, the .ba2 limit applies in the case of PC, too (which is what I'm on). <<< It is apparently a[n undocumented] Gamebryo game engine limitation, which is what FO4 -- on all platforms -- is built on.

The precise limit and/or algorithm for determining same is a kind of unknown...  it is somewhere in the range of, say, 420 ~ 500 active .ba2 files, depending upon your load order contents & arrangement, but no one really knows exactly (maybe check in with TheSoundOfSnow over at the Buffout4 Crashlog Autoscanner page?).  From my experience, I believe the limit also includes .cdx & .csg geomtery data files that get loaded as part of various previsine repair mods.

Thanks for the loose files to come!
