How would I go about removing the empty lines from this to make scrolling less annoying? Also, is there a way to hide some of these from the UI or reorder them?
I have an unfortunate issue that I think is linked to this mod, where if you try to use any looks menu skin overrides on a character that uses any of the extended facial sculpting, their face completely changes - to what looks like I'm assuming a face with any of the edits done with the extended facial sculpting sliders removed. Happens with all forms of editing the face (character creation, showlooksmenu, mega surgery centre). Obviously I could just try make my open preset unique player body, but it is still rather frustrating. Just thought I'd make a note of it :))
Downloaded a lot of presets made with this mod and thus I had to get it too. I agree that the options for tune faces are amazing. Sadly I'm getting exploding heads on a lot of presets that have been made without this mod, just the base game and no modded facial sliders. I'm not sure why the added sliders would cause this as surely you have tested that it works on older presets not made with it? I have pictures and samples of presets that I can send to you in a private message if you like.
I honestly don't remember if I did or didn't test this lol. Exploding faces can be caused by a number of things though, and I'm not sure this is something I'd be able to fix, sorry :/
I can almost guarantee this mod isn't the cause. What other mods are you using? It sounds like a lot of mods broke after the update recently, including LooksMenu for some, which this mod depends on.
*Edited* thought I found the mod conflict but the issue still remains. What happens is that sculpting with these LooksMenu sliders for more than a few minutes causes intense lag that persists, and only goes away after restarting the game. I'm still using the previous version of the game. I don't believe this mod is the sole reason for the lag, or inherently laggy, though. Must be compatibility issues.
Anyone with the disappearing sliders problem; as per the original's FOMOD warning of this:
Male sculpts. Warning: installing this will cause the Female list to revert to vanilla options only. The effects will still be there (faces built with the expanded list will retain their changes), but the sculpts will no longer show in the list.
Recommended to only install Male sculpts after making all the changes to female characters that you plan to.
and vice versa, for making edits with the extended sliders to the other.
Has anyone figured out figured out why the sliders for both this mod and the original EFS mod do not show up in game? I have looksmenu installed and did tried both a manual install and an install with MO2.
Honestly my theory is that looksmenu being updated messed it up. I wouldn't mind if the sliders showed up or not if the presets worked the way they should.
in the data directory - otherwise the game does not recognize the changes that have been made as the information is injected into the game manually via that method
also check that you don't have any mods overriding the Bone Data information from LooksMenu / LMCC in your load order, in xedit - there are a few mods that do this ie: outfit mods; some crafting framework mods, and so on - couldn't say for sure whether this would be the issue or no, but worth a look
also worth checking that you've actually got a head installed that has the correct bones to edit in the first instance - ie: that the .tri and chargen files have not been overwritten by another mod which changes the regions, so on so forth
all just educated guesses, may or may not help - best of luck with it!
I'm having the strangest problem. I just started a new play, at around level 10ish. Made my character with the sliders. I went in to start a new game to tweak a preset I use for Jake (don't... yeah, just nevermind) and all the sliders are gone. Like they just don't even exist. I reinstalled the mod (even though it's just txt files) and moved it to the bottom. Same thing. I checked a bunch of mods for meshes or anything that could be causing it, but as loose txt files how can something be overwriting them? Why would they suddenly just stop showing up? I've not touched this LO. All I did was hit a new game instead of continue to have some uninterrupted facial sculpting of presets I've made that are already in my load order. I feel like I'm insane!
ETA: I give up. I've been farkin around with this for 2 days now. It simply refuses to show up in character creation.
I'll have to check this out for the extra sliders, thanks! I know another nexus user got both genders working ingame at the same time but I wasn't aware of their version having any bugs, am I mistaken in that?
In my experience, that mod breaks the vanilla female sliders. If I clicked one, even accidentally, the game would break, and I'd have to alt+f4. Not sure if this happened to anyone else though.
If someone else wants to modify my version of the mod to get both genders working seamlessly and without any game-bricking bugs, I'd be happy to see it.
Oh wow, I'm definitely not experiencing that in my usage of it. I can see why you didn't work with it lol Maybe I'll try my hand at getting both of these working together.
I just installed it again to double-check, and I'm not experiencing that bug anymore. Can't even replicate it if I try. Don't know what I was doing wrong beforehand lol.
Would be great if ya did, rad! I've been using that version as well and now I'm not sure if I want to keep using that one or replace it with this one. Also, is there the possibility of actually adding numbers to the sliders? Similarly to how the body shape's sliders work, that show the exact value chosen? Blindly adjusting the sliders is quite frustrating.
gotta love the fickle nature of bethesda mods, lol. i was able to get both genders working ingame, so i'm pretty happy about that. thanks for your work adding to the sliders!
