so i tried to set this up but when I try to swap hairstyles as suggested, typing slm gets me an error: compiled scripted not saved.
edit: so found out how to do it. apparently when you click on the companion, you see their hexadecimal code. you need to add that after the slm XXXXXX and that allows me to edit said companion. huh. cool.
Anyone else having some frame rate stutter after installing this and all the requirements? I'm playing on a 60hz tv and it was locked in at a solid 60 fps before, I never had a stutter or dip at all until now. Anyone know what might be causing it?
Other than that rather minor issue, the mod looks great. You sure prettied her up. I've basically just been looking for a mod that turns Heather into Willow. haha
What I absolutely hate about Fallout 4 is I have never been able to get the looks of followers shown in any mods. I really don't know why but Skyrim was much simpler. I got a weird face no matter how I tried.
There are so many reasons this can happen. Shaping/face/features are probably the most tedious and often complex mods to download for Fallout 4. Always having to dl more hair packs, make up, skin textures. Then you end up with multiple textures for skin if you are not careful. It really requires a lot of detail and knowing everything about your load order. Its overly complicated and most don't mesh well with other choices you have made with your mod list.
My suggestion to you is look through 'preset' looks and use those as a base for what you want followers/npcs to look like. Meaning find presets and not replacers that you feel are a good base and have very few dependencies. This allows you to go into looks menu and see if the preset looks good and doesn't force you to replace said npc/follower. From there tweak and add what you like. It makes npc changing so much less stressful.
Really? I have tried several different face mods, 3 for Heather alone in this playthrough and they have all made people look exactly as advertised. You may be missing something in the requirements, or maybe something important isn't playing well with another mod you have installed.
maybe it is possible to do a DE-Standalone like they do in Skyrim? Not your fault but something about the Hipoly redux compatability with Fusion Girl breaks my game at the moment. My guess is I have to rollback to a previous version, but if I could use my own textures for body and face then it might work. I'm not a mod author so forgive me if anything is nonsensical. I love this replacer favorite one, but something about my build is incompatable with the prereq.
Sorry, I have a brown face bug when I use long-haired Heather, how should I solve it, I have installed the requested mod and my other NPCs do not have this problem
Okay, I figured it out. I had Natural Face Textures 2k + LMCC, BUT I also needed LMCC 2k Face Textures - that finally fixed it.
She looks amazing.
Just wish this didn't require downloading like half a dozen other things, this seems to be a recurring issue with a lot of FO4 appearance mods for single NPC's where they require tons of other stuff.
I understand authors generally can't include other author's resources in them, but it would be nice to just have a single download for everything all in 1. Would make this whole process a lot less confusing.
I've found an easy way to apply Hipoly seamless on Heather in game (Or anyone else for that matter)
1. slm 14 2. Save your preset (if nessesary) 3. Put Heather's preset on your character 4. Go to Extra and enable Seamless neck (nothing will happen yet) 5. Open MCM and enable Seamless Hipoly Player, neck seam should disappear 6. Save the preset, then apply the preset to Heather
So I just started modding does that mean I put it on the bottom of the "priority list" on the left of Mod Organizer 2 or do I have to do something on the right side?

Not the 1K original mod textures
