I've never heard of problems with this option. Is it in the right file (fallout.ini, not one of the other inis), and only one copy of the setting? It's possible that https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17161 would extend the boundary far enough since it's close by, but I haven't tested this.
I imported the blueprint but it places all the wood pillars and stuff at weird angles. So the house isn't put together correctly. Has anyone experienced anything like this?
This is stunning. I spent like an hour just exploring and admiring the workmanship. Mind officially blown.
Question: Two rooms had heavy storm/security shutters (garage doors, IIRC)... After opening them, I can't figure out how to CLOSE them. To "lock down" the place. Is that possible to close them again?
They are controlled by the switches next to them. Since they didn't open automatically, they didn't get correctly powered up. Make sure AutoDoors 2.9a or higher is installed, as well as the AutoDoors path for Snappy HouseKit. The switch itself is from HZY. The same one (but wired directly) is used on the warehouse door in the garage.
Make sure you have at least version 2.9a. Older ones will not work. Also make sure you install the AutoDoors patches that come with some of the other mods like Snappy HouseKit.
Quite a trip and some headache but I got it working finally, quite the learning curve by the way. Its first intro was bumpy and my save was rough but now its smoothed over and excellent, like a home of the future on the water!
Funny to think how the ancient Greeks and Leonardo Da Vinci dreamt about the industrial age but we and our ancestors of the 20th century dreamed about the technological age which is popularly called the future.
I gotta say, this is probably your most impressive work so far. Extremely detailed and underrated.
Right in the middle of the house when you enter the main door, part of the floor seems to be missing on every floor in the same spot as you can see in the image. I wonder why this is the case?
