ATTENTION:The Service Pack Redux is officially in the works (so soon? Yes, yes I know). The Redux will bring along a better appearance more akin to an AR-10 or prototype AR-15 (which is still pretty much an AR-10) along with more content overall. Including:
-Modeled to use RU556 animations by Ha_ru along with a slightly reimagined appearance justified with new PBW lore -A redesign of the Marksman Carbine intended to be injected into LLs without looking out of place next to the Service Rifle and Assault Carbine -The original Marksman Carbine from New Vegas still being a unique weapon now with much more added lore within PBW -Two new LL injected Service Rifle variants: The Gamma Carbine (CoA Radium Rifle type thing that fires 7.62mm) and Salvaged Carbine (Previously broken Service Rifles poorly restored by Raiders that now fire rounds like 9mm) -Brand new unique variants for both the Assault Carbine and Redesigned Marksman Carbine -Even more added PBW lore
ATTENTION: If your file shows up as having a virus that's an error with a new update to Windows Defender, same thing happened to a lot of other mods, idk when this is gonna be fixed but it's just there. The PBW world domination isn't for another 2 years, don't worry.
Absolute staple of my load order as a die-hard Service Rifle fan. All i can really say about it that its just PERFECT!. One day i hopefully will wake up with Project Bygone Weapons be fully completed and we can simply just enjoy all of the good weapons from the previous two games just perfectly fitting F4s systems and aesthetic. Please dont drop this project, you are on a VERY good way with this stuff. I absolutely LOVE IT!
I can't figure it out. I go to the South Boston Military Checkpoint, no gun. I go to the Island at Walden pond, no gun.
Is there some other mod required? Can you please edit the main page with screenshots in the spoilers to show where they are so we know we're looking in the right place?
update: Ok so it does say you downloaded the mod, do you have Nuka-World and Munitions installed? (because it says you didn't download any of the required files)
OK, so I add that mod, and then travel to Walden Pond and SBMC and no weapons.
Do I need to roll back and make sure that Munitions and your mod are laoded at the same time? Are there other instructions? Do I need to have enabled something in Munitions for this to work?
I went back to a save before I added you mod, added Munitions and then added PBW - The Service Pack and saw messages that the Service Rifle had been added to levelled lists. I was able to see the various carbines with help Carbine 4
I then travelled to SBMC and was able to pick up the Marksman Carbine, which is great!
Usually when I add mods that require DLC or other mods I see a pop-up window on the Nexus when I go to download it. Not sure how you set that, but it might be a good idea. Maybe an installation note on the main mod description that Munitions is required, unless I somehow missed that.
How can I confirm if this is installed? Do I need to start a clean save? I have added the mod and headed to one of the locations to pick up one of them and it's not there.
I searched for the items using "help Carbine 4" and nothing showed up. Does this take in-game time to activate?
How common are these in leveled lists? Looking at the quest I see BOS, Gunners, and Raiders get it. I'm not super experienced with tweaking LLs, can I safely remove the raider entries from the quests?
yes you should be able to safely remove the entries for raiders within the script of the quest. You'll have to wait either 3 in game days or an in game week for the changes to go through.
Usually weapons, small patches, and armor mods can be turned into esl. I have no issue doing it for Skyrim when it comes to that sort of thing. I haven't really messed with it for fallout 4 though. I suppose I could test it and see if nothing breaks. I will get back to you.

I look forward to using the weapons!
And thanks for your help.
