I use NAC X with this foggy filter mod, ... and I also uses Gas Masks of the Commonwealth. So I understand each to their own are weather modifiers.
For experiment I use NAC X weather change trhrough MCM.......... radstorm. The NAC foggy filter ( I make sure the name NAC foggy filter wall /ceilling /floor) is not working. What did I do wrong?
Follow-up reply: Is there a way to natively have snow not clip? There's a workaround that labels the snow weathers as "rain" but that has weirdness, in particular you can't have strong blowing snow anymore, it has to fall pretty much straight down.
If not, not a huge deal since the other one technically does its job, I just thought I'd ask.
I use True Storms with NAC X there's patches to make them play well together. Also for the snow, try the following, works great.
NAC X - Legacy Edition - No Snow Under the Roof - Patch https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/55915
EDIT: Here is the patch to make NacX & True Storms work together https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/60884
I think the true storms anti fog thing works, but I wonder if this one does better, I will test. The only thing that still bugs me is the ENB everything gets wet in rain feature, looks fantastic, but its a bit anoying that under the roof the floors & NPC & things still get shiny/wet, even though there's no rain/snow under the roof, im thankful we've gotten this far, but having that Wet feature respect Cover too would over the top awesome. I think its ENB, or perhaps comes from the WET mod? I have to check in xedit & see how its done soon.
oh wow I was just looking for something like that in my previous playthrough. I used NAC and loved the many weather options, but also hated the Rad Storm ones which only gave me few shelters to hide from. With this it could really make me switching to NAC again. But right now I am using True Storm again simply because it has its filters already and well best alternative to NAC :) Anyway I will track this mod and will return once I decide to change mods again. Thanks for creating it!
I have both with the patch, the Fog filter does the same as air does to a stone: Nothing. (#`-_ゝ-) The dust storms and the radstorms can get a bit annoying in survival mode, I'll test if this patch can help about the issue when you use both. I love both mods but those weathers can be quite annoying.
This is a formlist patching so NAC X Fog filter will only work with NAC X weathers and True Storms filter will only work with True Storms weathers. You need to make a patch to make one to work for all.
I'm looking at this thing in xedit and there are no magic effects or anything attached to the items they are just on a list of fake exterior stuff? It only needs that to stop rads and weather?
