Damn, I tried this mod like... a year ago? Then I forgot about it because of the blackening. You actually revisited it! I prefer retextures without too much artistic freedom, like this one. Also thanks for the HD sentry bot update too.
Does scaling to 4k/8k make it any better? Or is this as good as it can be with the ai upscaler you used. It's not bad from a meter a way but walking up to grab the fusion core - the blur shows.
