Carbon Based Feline Like Animal. for some reason for not playing fallout 4 not for a long time it works now. with GR off command on. could of been curropted save. Goodbye Carbon Based Feline Like Animal
i have played with this mod in my load order extensively and i have only seen it CTD, i have come to the conclusion to just not use this mod and use what bethesda built into the game's functionality in how it loads, they might have done it this way so the game wouldn't CTD during this situation, having it loop back to the main menu is a pain in the neck sure but it at least doesn't crash on load like this does.
sometimes mods that claim to improve on mechanics end up causing worse issues sad to say i have a few of these mods that supposedly fix something and then you find out they cause even worse issues down the road.
Not sure why, but this mod is responsible for this bug in my game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3K2bJL_Y3Y. I had to reset CoU_DefaultPlayerControlScript.Onhit() (the ID is XX03F81E) to regain control
I know this isn't really a fix, but rather a work around.. or as the mod creator likes to say a "fixaround" but I want to point out that "fixaround" is misleading, and while this may be a workaround it's not a guarantee that it won't crash.
I still crash while using this mod... but it does seem to lower the chances of crashes so just keep that in mind if you do decide to use this... you also may get annoyed at how long it takes before it lets you respawn since it takes like x4-x5 as long to react.
It still loads from your last save despite what the comments try to suggest.... so no, it doesn't stop your game from resuming a save after you die.
I'm probably just going to remove it as it doesn't really do much for me personally... but thought I'd put this here for anyone looking to use it. Hope this clears up any confusion and helps someone.
You seem to have misunderstood, it ONLY stops this specific crash:
you die
your game loads the last save and then crashes instead
if it crashes at any other point, something is wrong with the main menu, or ANY TIME DURING NORMAL GAMEPLAY. this mod will do nothing, sorry to disappoint. it's ingame, while loading
So then the description is false as that's not "all this mod does". And a fix involves getting rid of the root of the problem, which this mod doesn't really do, it only works around the issue. Ergo it's a workaround. Also, what's up with that tag, is this really only for VR?
Anyway, if the tag is also wrong, thanks for the mod as these crashes been going on my nerves and had no idea it had to do with the auto-load on death. Much preesh.
Since you only post in the forum pretty much I can't tell if you're trolling... You're asking me if because I tagged it "compatible" with FO4VR it's a VR-ONLY mod???? Edit: ur welcome tho, i was dealing with this bug myself for a very long time untill a friend let me know it's a common enough issue that people might need a fixaround.

So it's not even a fix, just a workaround.
Edit: it stops the game from crashing, ez fix.
