I was having a bit of trouble with crashes. I think I tracked it back to crafting the weapon, it then gives you the weapon to take and you need to take it before hitting any other buttons. If this happens to someone else hopefully this can help you.
That's a first, I have never heard of it happening before. You might have something else that is conflicting with it, but I am not sure what it would be, because there should not any other file paths, meshes or textures that should be conflicting with it. Strange.
Still having the issue. I think it has to do with the legendary item reward triggering for the item with the crafting UI overlaying it. Its 50-50 that I can click take to recieve the item or the game crashes. But once its out of the bench (I have to use player.moveto player to escape) I can modify it to my hearts delight.
The items should not be legendary, unless you add that to them. It that is happening once you add a legendary effect to the weapon, you might have a mod that is causing the issue. Are you using some kind of crafting mod, that might have changed the legendary effects in your game?
You might want to try reinstalling the mod and see if that fixes it, other wise you might have some kind of conflict going on and you may need tot move it around in your load order.
