   I think the issue with melee speed changes is that they're heavily tied to the underlying animations hence difficult to change dynamically.

      Yeah, but as i said i did it by request, and i cound't figure out something better to improve the perk, so i did this.

   question:
    this buff every melee weapon or only the ones from big leagues?

      It will just add a small buff to weapons considered one and two handed, but the perk will still buff unarmed weapons as it always did.
