Not sure how this happened but lately a lot of the scrapable crap in the world all of a sudden got tagged as a non-ref item and can not be scrapped. Will this mod work around this? Or is there another fix for this?
Dude, your mod was the most useful thing I've ever found on Nexus. You plan to make a patch for Fallout London. I used it in the mod, but some items aren't scrapable ;/
I've got scrap all working (on workbenches and eco) and I can scrap items from the world, but I just wanted to check - is it possible to scrap single items from inside my inventory? The wording on your "functionalities" section made me uncertain.
If not it's still great and very useful. I can just drop items and then scrap them, but wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong, it wasn't working properly, or if that functionality just isn't part of the mod.
Hello! The final idea was scrap from the inventory, but I'm still working on it. You can only scrap from the World for now. Thank you so much, I really appreciate
From my experience, most workbenches don't have that option, though the one in Home Plate does. Usually, there is a chem station or armor/weapon workbench nearby that does have that option. In a couple of settlements, you have to build one of these to get the option.
Added this to an existing game and it worked great. However, when I started a new game, the holotape isn't in my inventory. Do I need to craft it? If so, I could not locate it in the Chem Station...
Oh, try to remove the mod, load the game, save and reinstall, it should give it to you.. I'm working on MCM menù for it. it's safe, this mod doesn't break anything, In my tests I've done something like houndreds of times ahahah
Works great! I like the workbenches functionality, it adds to immersion. Although I accidentally figured out how to scrap stuff interactively (F key in my case) I didn't see how to use that in the description, the videos or the comments but perhaps I'm blind. Something I find extremely useful and immersive is that although there are workbenches scattered everywhere in the Commonwealth, their use in the base game is almost null, unless you are carrying with you a mod or the required components to craft it, they serve almost just as a decoration only. With this mod you can take your looted weapons and armour and scrap them on the go and therefore lighten the load! It makes sense! This mod is now part of my essential mods list.
Yes, could be and originary it was, but it's less immersive. I have to think about it. For now you can take all, throw the junk and scrap it one by one.
Actually it's the first time that I see this mod. Seem like the difference is that my mod works with lists of junk and components, so anyone can add their personalized junk or anyone can patch the mods that adds new junk if already exists (I can do it if I will have requests).
I don't understand if Junk to Components can scrap the single junk directly when you see it or not. With Scrap_Junk. you can and you should :D
I'm pretty sure that Scrap_Junk. is actually compatible with almost everything (included workshop framework of kinggath) and doesn't break any save at all, you can install and unistall the mod as you want. The scripts are working in the mod, doesn't touch Vanilla records at all.

Really cool mod, and deceptively simple.

Endorsed!
