Will this mod remove the heads and decapitated bodies strung up on poles etc? Seems stupid to build a settlement at Hangmans Ally and have the rotting human remains just outside the gate.

Yes, they will be rendered invisible to the player. They can still be scrapped if you have a mod for scrapping those items.

Actually, iirc, I just opened a console, clicked on the Hangman's Alley ones and typed disable. Never saw them return after many later visits and in-game months. But I guess only PC users have that option(?). Don't think it hurt precombines - iirc if precombined I'd not be able to separately click on them at all. But at the time I was unsure so used disable rather than markfordelete - I always make a save before doing either of course, in case of making mistakes. Nice mod idea btw. Some before and after examples would be nice. Thanks for sharing.

      @ Geth7n
The ones I thinking of were outside the build area. I've been doing as Streetyson, Using the console and disable/markfordelete.

I have been using the console, and I did add the markfordelete command and have had to problem with it. I do have precombines disabled, but seldom have problems. My highest level character is at 215 atm, and still works fine. I just prefer not to use the console if possible.

This mod disables them globally at the engine level. It will even affect mods that call on the same data.

Magick, I wasn't actually answering you personally (why would I, given your ignoring my past kind PM?) but for the benefit of any facing that body issue in Hangmans. Which is also the only reason I'm making this response. I've only resorted to markfordelete once myself, for a persistent corpse in Kingsport. But what a strange approach, to disable precombines globally - obviously to mod the hell out of places in ways the game never meant - yet be too squeamish about cautious, occasional use of a "disable" console command. To anyone having "too many problems" with such an ethos, I suggest reconsidering their approach to modding. Good day to you.

      and click "rebuild precombines"

      I'm busy right now, sorry

would love to see a mod that makes normal firearms not blow limbs off, i find it really takes me out of the game when a pistol makes someone's head or legs get blown off

Aye, a rifle could blow a limb off but it'd be hard for a pistol. Fallout has always had a graphic cartoon approach to the subject. Apart from not taking the bloody mess perk, there's two old mods maybe worth a look Reduced Explovise Limbs and No Human Exploding Limbs (Human because exploding characteristic is determined by race, not weapon type - Bethesda brain-fart). Could be others too. There's also an ini file setting you can enable, change bDisableAllGore=0 to bDisableAllGore=1 which, iirc, disables all blood & bits.

And apparently in the ini there's bBloodSplatterEnabled=1 which you can also change the 1 to 0 to remove blood splatter on the screen if it's still showing - or try No Screen Blood Splatter which just replaces the blood splatter texture overlay with a clean one.

Lol. I found this while searching for gore-increasing mods. Trying to make my game as gory as possible, because the more the better.

Suggest you get better at searching and spend less time telling the world how bad you are at it then - er, LOL.

How does this play with Previsibines Repair Pack?

This should have no effect on it. All of the affected objects should not fall under the Previsibles.

Cute. Thing is, I want to remove as much gore and blood with this, but that is a fun mod suggestion, appreciate the heads up.
