I looked at the changes the following versions have made and don't see how this patch will be a problem. I will confirm that when I get a chance. I haven't upgraded my PANPC yet. The main patching is for the Horizon NPCs to disable PANPC from running AI on them and the grenades and mines. You could *probably* run with no patch and be fine, tbh.
Thanks for the patch! However, instead of this chatter, which is two pages long lol, it would be better to indicate in the description recommendations for the loading order in MO2
Just FYI, there was an exploit in the 1.9.3 patch. The PANPC Distractor Grenades had a value of 100 and sold for something like 30 in Horizon Desolation mode and all they took was 2 steel to make.
Hello, happy new year, best wishes for you PANPC has been updated, do you think your patch will need one too or can we update safely while keeping said patch ?
I just checked it out. I can't see how those changes would effect the patch. I'll update at some point soon and get experience with it. I'll hard save the game and then install and see how it goes. Should be good to go.
Totally offtopic, as i think the mod is amazing! <3 Thank you ^^
What i would like thou, is copies of the pics you have used here, with the 3 "wastelanders" or the source to use them in a RPG boardgame with friends, as inspiration. That would be pure bliss. Thank you in advance, either way ^^
Thank you for the patch. It adds so much to Hz experience, kudos to you.
As a side note, PANPC distractors sell for 13 caps in vendors and only require 1 steel to make. It could be exploited IMHO. This is just for you to consider if you ever feel like getting back into this patch.
I actually haven't messed with those much. I don't remember them being overpowered. I'm under the impression they are nothing more than throwing a piece of rock or metal to grab someone's attention. Do you use them?
I crafted some to try out. And yes, they are like the jolt from STALKER, just to distract. If they are working or not, not sure about that. Tried couple of times, NPC didn't seem to be bothered.
Don't use this on Hz 1.8. I actually removed the NPCs on my 1.8 patch and it's been fine. That patch was old to begin with and outdated with the updated PANPC. I wish there was a note about that on the Discord but it's no big deal. It'll just remove the AI on a bunch of NPCs. If you remove the patch you'll just be stuck with unpatched PANPC grenades and mines. Personally, that's not a big deal. This patch mainly removes the AI scripting from some Hz specific NPCs, which may not even effect performance that much, depending on your rig. I didn't A/B test that though.
Do we have to have the glowing animals emit light mod? From what I understand Horizon basically covers everything that mod already does so you shouldn't need it.

How do I send you the pic? I produced it with Midjourney, the AI thing on Discord.

THANK YOU for your hard work on the patch.
I also didn't know Hz already has the glowing textures for the creatures. Someone in the Discord actually made a patch for that for Hz.
