Man, people are so crabby in this comment section. It's bemusing. it's just a bat file. Why is it so offensive to people?
"Just use cheat codes" "Why is the even here?" "You can already do this just type out 50 commands instead of one. What's the big deal?" You really don't know what the deal is?
Why does this mod(a simple .txt file) bother people so much?
Edit: I forgot the reason I came into the comments in the first place. Is that pic you have in the description from in game? Is it from a mod? Looks cool, like it gives you visual representation of items and what they become when broken down.
This is redundant with the batch files already on the console commands page of the game's wiki: https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Fallout_4_console_commands.
Scroll to the bottom-ish and copy the text inside whichever bubble you prefer to use. There is one for the base resources, one for all junk items in case you want to decorate, and various ones for character perks/levels/stats.
Yes use shipments instead since they do not have weight. This gives you more but with less of an impact. Except for that Bones category. Bones have a weight of 1 each adding 1000 will make running a thing of the past. If you do not need/use bones delete it. Otherwise reduce it to a much lower number (this will give 1000 punds of bones).
Add shipments to cost no weight (or little to next). But adding the items themselves, like this does, does not make Fallout 4 Game engine hang while thinking. Especially when processing on a convey belt. The game engine has to process the shipments. So, if your doing a lot of building, crafting etc... too many shipments can cause the game to hang. While it sorts out the shipment. Not everyone has a high end PC and spends their life playing games. Most of us have humble rigs, with humble specs.
What a non-humble comment. "Not everyone spends their life playing games" just because some people have better computers than yours? Don't whine for stuff while insulting people that worked harder than you for their PC specs lol.
If you just wish the items without loading you down just open console command and type in "player.additem 001ec66a 4" This will give shipment notes for all building items which have zero wt. Use this pages bat file for your ammo
This is a post for those who use Mod Organizer 2 and I’m not sure how the install works for the nmm/vortex install. For mod organizer it shows up as an error due to the fact that the mod itself only contains a simple file (I.e. no esp or folders/.ba2s). It’s safe to ignore it. Mod organizer doesn’t recognize anything as being installed because it is a just a txt file and displays an error message, it’s just a little quirk the organizer itself has. The mod works as advertised
I have an annoying issue. I cannot for the life of me get batch files to execute in game. The file names are simple .txt format as described they are located in my fallout 4 main directory with the fallout4.exe and I'm using the consel with the command format bat (filename) and enter and to no avail I'm still getting and error saying the file cannot be found or opened. I have searched every post from now to 2011 and I cant find any solution to this problem as of yet I have been tinkering with it but I just feel like I'm missing something important but obscure it shouldn't be this difficult to execute a bat file I have gone through this same process with all of the previous games with full success if anyone knows of a way to trouble shoot this it would be very much appreciated.
