Hi! Got both this mod and Munitions but I can't find the Munitions Ammo Plant :( In my menus there's only the vanilla terminal and ammo plant. Hope you can help!
I'll certainly try to. do you have any mods that change the workshop categories? have you tried reinstalling the mod? if neither of those help, delete the mod and try re-downloading it. I've had a couple of mods download with corrupted files this past month.
Well, the only workshop related mods I have are Place everywhere, a Wattz battery generator and one that I don't remember the name, but it's something like Rockstar furniture or something.
Haven't tried to reinstall nor deleting and installing again. As soon as I return home I'll try those options and let you know if I can make do.
Would it be possible to use your tutorial on how to add other ammo to consolodate all of them on a single terminal if I use less than 16 of them? I only have .22, 9mm, .357, 4.7mm caseless, ECP, & 40mm grenade mods in my load order. Or would that break the mod?
Conveyor storage doesn't work with the 2nd one. Tried making Energy cells and they all just pooled inside the storage (not put into the container) if they didn't just straight up clip through to the 1st floor below the conveyor storage. and when selecting the storage they all dropped to the floor. Vanilla production still gets put into storage so it's just an issue with the production from this mod. Didn't try the first one that makes explosives. Also with Energy cells selected for some reason shotgun primer is also being made and can only be interacted with in workshop mode (didn't try other ammo types).
I'll have to test the conveyor storage. the issue with shotgun primer suggests there's a potential mod conflict but I'm not sure what mod it would be coming from. what other manufacturing mods are you using?
Same Issue with the Energy Cells, any fixes? New to contraptions but is there also a way to get a conveyor belt to gather from two machines and directs into one?
I would try moving this mod further down in your load order, below any other crafting mods. if that doesn't work, let me know which mod adds the shotgun primers and I'll see if I can figure it out. for the conveyors, I'm not sure, I've only ever made simple basic manufacturing setups.
in xEdit, load the Munitions Manufacturing and PTRS 41 plugins right-click Manufacturing Extended.esp and select Add Masters, then select the PTRS plugin and click OK expand Munitions Extended.esp then navigate to DLC05WorkshopBuilderAmmoMunitions2 under the Container category in the window to the right, right-click Properties (sorted) and click Add click and drag recipe00 onto your new property that says None, then expand the entry
under iCount, you'll see the number 1 - this determines the amount of the component required under theComponent, you'll see c_Copper - this determines the component required
to change the component, click it so that it's highlighted, then click it again - this will open a drop down menu you can scroll through make sure that you select the c_COMPONENT entriy and not the c_COMPONENT_scrap, or your recipe won't work
if you want to remove a component, right-click the Struct # to the right of the divider line and select remove
if you want to add a component, right-click on the same side on the line above, Array of Struct drag one of the Struct # lines and drop it over your newly created Struct #, then adjust it to your liking
once you have the components set up how you want, move on to DLC05nativeWorkshopBuilderAmmoMunitionsTerminalSubMenu2 and scroll down to Menu Items right-click next to Menu Items and click Add Menu Items drag one of the menu item entries onto your Menu Item #15 then expand it edit the item text to the name of the ammo, change the Item ID to 16, then remove the condition for Equal to 1.000000 GetGlobalValue remove or change the perk requirement to your liking to add another condition, right-click next to Condition and select Add Condition, then drag the Condition # entry over your new condition and change the perk to your liking
click the three-line box at the top left of xEdit and save your changes, close xEdit, then launch the game and see if it shows up in the menu and manufactures properly
hope that's readable enough. each machine can only have 16 ammo recipes attached before bugging out, so you'll need to create a new machine or edit the existing recipes on the machine. if you have any issues or questions, let me know and I'll try to help.
I've uploaded it. I don't own an Xbox so I can't test it for myself, so let me know if there are any issues. https://mods.bethesda.net/en/fallout4/mod-detail/4360561
thank you, I appreciate your help. I've never uploaded a mod with extra files attached to it to Bethesda.net before, so hopefully everything is working fine.
From what I tested last night everything was working fine. I didn’t get to test every ammo but I did test both of the factories and they produced the proper ammo 9mm and 30-06.
My brother in Christ you MUST add a requirement for Manufacturing Extended, this mod does not work without it (no new items under Manufacturing). I spent far too long thinking I was doing something wrong
thanks for the tip off, I narrowed down the problem and it should now work independently. I tested it on a separate profile with only it installed and everything worked fine on my end. sorry about that. let me know if the new version fixed the issue for you.
Is this mod complete? Does it contain recipes for every ammo from Munitions and the Additional Ammo add-on? There are so many ammo types that it's hard for me to keep track of.
Thank goodness! Not being able to craft the ammo from Munition was the only thing stopping me from downloading it. The other mods that let you craft the ammos are either outdated, abandoned, or have no plan to include the Additional Ammo add-on. I assume you'll add all the ammo from the Additional Ammo add-on eventually?
So I tried to craft a 9mm subsonic ammo and at first, it didn't show up on the terminal. I thought maybe I had to add it manually through the holotape, but the Additional Ammo doesn't have one. I was using Reaper's Robco Munitions Patches. After that, I switched to two of Reaper's munition patches that use plugins, and after doing so, the options to craft the ammo from Additional Ammo appeared on the terminal, and even more options appeared from the main munition mod. It seems like your mod doesn't recognize the patches made by Robco.
Also, I don't know if this is a bug or a user error on my part but when crafting explosives like rockets and 25mm/40mm grenades, they are not inserted into the storage inventory. They were just stuck inside the machine (the black void and not in the inventory), after I scrapped the storage, all of them dropped to the ground. Any idea what causes this?
P.S. Sorry if my explanation is incomprehensible. English is not my main language. 🙏
the latest version of Additional Ammo added a holotape, but it's named "MAA Configuration". I overlooked it myself in testing and had to find the name in the mod tools. I've not used the RobCo Patcher before, so I'll have to look into how that works. as for the conveyor storage issue, I think that uses a separate script to determine what can be stored inside of them but that's another thing I'll have to look into to know for sure. thanks for the reports, I'll see what I can figure out.
