   Hey so I have the mod installed. It worked fine before but in a new save he just straight up died after I asked him to go to Sanctuary??? I'm really confused.

   does this work the same way with console command (without quotations) :
   "setessential <base ID> 1" ?
   (for Vaul-Tec rep it would be "setessential 00031fb3 1" )

      Well, before you meet him he might die, without you knowing. You can download the mod before you start the game.

      actually isnt hancock the only companion that isn't essential, because if you max affinity with him and romance him and then dismiss him, he might kill himself? or is that a myth?

   I was walking down a peaceful road when suddenly i come upon the body of a well dressed corpse. Upon closer inspection i see this goul's name is/was Valtech Rep. :O
   
   Wish i'd known sooner about this mod! Especially since i have mortal settlers from better settlers installed.

    His suit is immortal, so why not he is? Good mod
