For me its been the other way around. I watched the series, and while doing research, I've stumbled over the information about the old game - where I was confused how diferent she looked back then :D
In the game she looked a bit too... masculine... for my taste - at least those pictures I've come across. So I like the cartoon better - which was my inspiration.
