Hi! You mean your character has a brown face? You've probably selected 2K options during Cridowskin installation. 2K options (freckles, brows, makeup) only work with 2K face textures like Natural 2K or Real HD 2K. You should either install one of these mods and overwrite it's files with Cridowskin's ones (the order is: 1) CBBE, 2) 2K Faces, 3) Cridowskin) or reinstall Cridowskin without any 2K options.
Hi, I'm having a problem with mods because vortex says there are file conflicts with CBBE Criwdoskin Kirse's Freckles mods. I don't know how to solve please help
Hello! You've probably selected the 2K freckles option during Cridowskin installation. You should use either Cridowskin's freckles or Kirse's Freckles (or neither of them), not both, as they change the same files.
Sadly, it's just the way KS Haidos Conversions work. You can either abstain from wearing headgear or use vanilla hairs — there is no way known to me to have both hats and modded hairs.
I really really enjoy this preset, been using it for 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it.
The only problem I have, is that the skin sometimes shines through the top of the hair, is there a way to fix that on my side? Like make the top of the head flatter/smaller/etc.? Or is that just a problem with the hair not closing in that spot perfectly and basically unfixable from my user side?
Could you please tell me how to replicate your problem and maybe share some screenshots? I've just tested it in different scenarios (running, sneaking, jumping, fighting, etc) and haven't noticed any clipping.
The posture didn't matter really, no matter my movement it seemed to stay that way, it's basically the center spot on the top of the head and a liiiittle bit of the seams in the front and the most front as you can see is pretty weird, but the top and seam ones are the ones that catch my eye quite often.
I use Reactor ENB and NACX and make the colors lose the grey filter since I have an OLED and grey blacks are sh*t ;) , so it probably is more obvious on my side than many others.
Oh, I understand it now. I saw it in my game too, but I thought that you meant something else, because for me it seemed to be normal for that hairstyle.
You can try changing vanilla forehead sculpt or the new sculpts added by Extended Facial Sculpting (a requirement for this preset). I'll try it too and upload a fixed version, if I make it look better.
Haha yeah we all had that moment where we thought: "that can't be it right?!" ;)
Thank you for looking into it, my mind has some problems with sculptung/designing in 3D space, so while I might use this weekend to see what I can do, my hopes are low sadly. xD
Anyway this preset looks just amazing with ReactorENB, NACX and NVIDIA DLAA
Well, I've checked the hair mesh in Blender, and, as you thought, it is not supposed to have this gap — the head is clearly clipping through the hair. I've also tried to adjust some of the sculpts to make it better — to no success. It seems that, while being okay by itself, the mesh is attached to the head in a way that makes slight clipping inevitable. Sadly, I don't know how to fix it. Sorry!
No worries, I appreciate the try, many wouldn't even care to. :)
Thx, I have almost a thousand now, every time I feel the scenery looks nice I make like 3-4 screenshots from 45 to 100 FOV. Never did that before in a playthrough, but since I'm so satisfied with the textures/ENB/Colors/OLED screen/DLAA/armor and of course your preset, I just can't stop myself from marvelling at this 8 Year old game!
I find the fact that Cridow skin comments are locked to be a significant reason to avoid using it if you are a major FO hobbyist that have spent hundreds if not thousands of hours on your character and NPC looks.
Personally, I've run into an issue where after installing both Cridowskin and Realistic Facial Proportions - Balanced, I can no longer apply modded cosmetics. I've tried moving both of them all over my load order and for the most part I'm able to apply vanilla cosmetics but sometimes even those don't work. I also have HiPoly Faces Redux and Natural 2K Face Textures installed so I'm not sure if there's some sort of conflict there. Now granted, your preset is working fine, it looks in my game exactly the same as your screenshots. I just wanted to make a few cosmetic tweaks to it is all but honestly I'm fine with how it looks. Just thought I'd mention the issue I'm having and if you know a proper load order for all these face retexture mods.
Nothing happens - the cosmetics just don't apply. Not sure what's happening, maybe they are applying but just behind the face retexture? I can change some vanilla cosmetics such as lip color or freckles but nothing modded works. Mods such as LooksMenu Customization Compendium or deLuxe Makeup for example. Maybe they just aren't compatible with Cridowskin.
It sounds terribly familiar, because I had the exact same problem when I tried to use the 1K version of LooksMenu Customization Compendium with 2K face textures. Do you by any chance use 1K instead of 2K? If so, try to install the 2K version of LMCC (it's in the Optional Files) and see if anything changes.
Just following up - that seems to have fixed it! I never even knew LMCC had a 2K optional file but of course, different texture resolutions will cause issues and that seems to be fixed now. Thanks so much and also just mentioning how much I love the radiance preset!

Again thx so much for this preset!
