The regular combat shotgun is still listed as Combat Shotgun, the replacer is named LASG (Combat Shotgun) but it doesn't spawn. I can cheat it in only with the code.
I'm using LIF, maybe it overwrites the replacer .esp somehow. I have the same problem with the Thompson that should replace the SMG. I've managed somehow to replace the combat rifle with another weapon (Combat rifle Level List replacer - R series). I'll try a full reinstall, maybe I let LIF overwrite your mod.

No. You're confused on what those are. That's not the replaced weapon. Don't use console commands to call upon the mod weapon. Did you try to spawn in a REGULAR combat shotgun and it simply showed up as a combat shotgun?
Because I just downloaded it from my own mod page, tested it, and it's appearing correctly.

That's not how LIF works. I also use it.
A replacer, such as this, directly replaces all vanilla instances of the weapon. So even if LIF script-injects it into other NPCs inventories, it's still using the vanilla entry so it should appear as the weapon mod.
Yes, the regular combat shotgun spawned as expected, because it was named as such in the console.
I also tried your double-barreled replacer. It worked on Cait and Hancock, but the regular double-barreled spawns were unchanged again...
Something must be conflicting, because I tried the Remington Model 11 replacer too, and it doesn't work either (it worked before, sort of, at least it spawned a single receiver, hehe, but now, nothing). Looks like it's not your mod's fault.
I'll try to figure it out and in case of success, I'll let you know what the problem was, in case someone else runs into it.
Edit: I couldn't find a solution. I'll use the double-barreled version, this way I can make sure that at least 2 samples I can surely find in an immersive way during a playthrough, that's enough for me, so I still thank you for it. I use the "Combat rifle Level List replacer - R series" mod of SenatorWary, that's the only replacer that still works for the clumsy me, take a look at it, how it works, how it's different, if you want.
Edit: It was the TacticalReloadVanilla.esp that overwrote it. Had to put it after that in the load order. Working now beautifully, thanks!
if you know how to replace weapons can you do a mod that replaces the combat rifle with the r91 from the 556 pack, it will be a great detail to the ones who hates the lore friendly weapons and love past lore friendly weapons
DEFINENTLY not a request! Handmade doesn't mean homemade explicitly. So yeah, it may not look homemade, but any gun with a simple enough design can be handmade. Well any gun can be handmade outright but, the simpler and easier the design, the more likely.

Did you try spawning a Combat Shotgun to see if the mod works?
