Reshade preset looks gorgeous but it also darkens the Pip-Boy UI when the preset is enabled and it's almost unreadable. It's probably the game's fault or other mods which are affecting it.
True that. It's like a big depth of field, so you will loss some long range details, but you will gain some visual effect. You can reduce or disable it in the Reshade menu.
Is turning performance mod on/off just a thing with this present or is that a standard operating proceedure with ReShade? I just installed ReShade with the DLSS Upscale mod and don't know how things work.
Hi, Performance mode (not mod) is a small checkbox button at the bottom right of the Home panel in Reshade ingame settings (press Home key). To set your own settings (like more or less blur), you must disable this Performance mode, then you will be able to change shaders settings. After that, save and turn the Performance mode on, this will compile the shaders and you will gain some perfs. By the way, this is in this Home panel you can select or switch to the preset you want, so you can have several presets in your game directory.

I just had to disable NeoBloom.fx because the hud turned into a flashbang
