A strange thing happened to me, I tried the mod, I played a bit and everything went well (too bad I only had access to a part of DC, I'd have gladly fixed the aesthetics of the various shops), then I decided to start over with a new character. I uninstalled the mod following the procedure and started again. However, as soon as I left Vault 111 and opening the Pip-Boy, I realized I had a settlement, Diamond City! How is this possible if I uninstalled the mod? I checked if I had left it active but nothing, I removed it completely (and deleted as I always do with mods) so I really can't find any explanation. 🤣
Update: I found the culprit mod! 😄 Your mod has nothing to do with it, I didn't realize I had the DC supply line mod, that's why Diamond City kept appearing in my active settlements even though I never got it. So all good, my fault, your mod works perfectly from install to uninstall. I just wanted to warn you to avoid unnecessary worries. 💖
adb3nj, you said we shouldn't take the settlemnt from console before we do the final quests becaues it disables some triggers, do you know for what quests those are? I would like to try the mod on my current character but dont plan on doing the main quest until much later.
So let me get this straight; We can be the mayor, but we can't use the mayor's office and quarters at all? Can't do a thing with it? So basically, you're mayor of the slum area only.
I'm building my 1st LO on pc for FO4, (taking a break from Skyrim SE) I've only played FO4 long ago on PS4. (our last run-through to level 287 before it finally died/quit) Very pleased to see several interesting expansion mods in DC to help to make it feel more like a real city. Definitely want to include your mod, which in your descriptions mentions adding new content in the bleachers. I didn't read anything in this thread or your description about compatibility specifically naming the other DC expansion mods we're looking at adding to this LO. They are Diamond City Expansion, Tales of the Commonwealth, Project Valkyrie, HotC, and possibly "Outcasts and Remnants". Do you know if any of these pose any conflicts in regard to them utilizing the same real-estate, therefore not being able to be used in the same run-through together? Sorry, my limited FO4 pc mod familiarity is lacking, my best reference source is the pics on each mods page. I feel sure in your development of your mod you attained a thorough knowledge of DC so who better to ask?? THANK YOU for all the amazing effort and time to improve on this game, I APPRECIATE you.
Do all of the merchants in Diamond City become settlers, like with those in Bunker Hill? And do they generate caps into the workshop that I can takes, also like with Bunker Hill?
Finished the game guards haven't said anything I sided with the minute but still I ain't the mayor of diamond city is there an exact quest that I need to do before becoming the Mayor of diamond city?

Damn, I just wanted to clean the place up.

Does the new settlement give out Minutemen quests, like vanilla ones? Can it be randomly attacked?
