niece mod ...I have a question, I'm playing a male and when I try to use the chair it gives me a message of "you can't do that right now"( i believe that's the phrase ) . My female follower uses it with the new animation fine . Is this intended ? will there be a version for both genders?

Normally this animation is just for females and males use vanilla anim (normally). I never tested that with a male player I can't really help for your question.

Your mod has the same lounge chair, with different colors? Else that not really possible because this animation is for the lounge chair, not for other chairs
Yes, Renovated Furniture has the lounge chair in several colors, and I think homemaker may as well. I like your animation very much, not many chairs make my character look like they are really relaxing.
In this case go fo4edit, you have to use my mod as master and replace the vanilla anim keyword by mine in your lounge chairs, same as I do for vanilla lounge chairs
because of DAR skyrim has had insane amounts of animation replacers, however some major skyrim mods have come to fallout 4 recently, hope DAR becomes one of them one day
A single pose, the PoseA_IdleFlavor#, 1 to 5 are free to edit by anyone who want. A lot are unused by the engine but seem required to work (book versions). The eat can be edited but will be removed because the leg have too heavy clipping in chair while eating. The talks versions are used to speak.
