    ==MOD UPDATE 4/12/2024==

    The mod ISNOT dead.
    Developement has slowed down alot due to health issues but we are not leaving the mod for dead we will have a big update in the future when my health stabalizes so i can finish my half of what needs to be completed. i appologize for the delay we will continue the developement on the Auxilia update ASAP just depends on my health

    Hello and welcome To The Fallout Heresy

    it Doesnt matter if your a Loyalist or A Traitor all are welcome here

    First things First We want to let everyone know that this mod IS indeed still under developement as it stands the base game is already mostly done only the minute men and gunners need to be changed but were still putting the fine tuning on their armor before we add them in fully but we figured  with the state of the mod as it is that its time to go public with absolutely MASSIVE thanks to our beta testers we have been able to get the game into a very stable condition that we feel is ready to start publicly updating so here it is


    our goal with the mod is to stay as close to 30K as possible so that means no there will not be Primaris marines and also no we will not be adding in your beloved thieving bird marines.

    We ask that you please have patience with us in working on this mod as we do have a small team still ATM


    FAQ

    Q1. Hay you forgot the super mutants. Can you can turn them into orks?
    They havent been forgotten just ATM were not sure really what to do with them orks could work but orks also didnt have a huge appearance in 30k 

    Q2. Can you make the minutemen Krieg because Krieg is awesome
    um sadly no Krieg didnt exist yet maybe in our 40k Conversion but that wont be started until this mod is 100% done

    Q3. do you have to have the DLC for this?
    honestly idk who wouldnt have all the DLC at this point but no its not a MUST have we will have a version with no DLC

    Q4. are you going to do the DLC
    yes we will do the DLC but not until the base game is fully done and at that poing it will be one DLC at a time because we rather Quality over Quantity

    I don’t know if this is a bug or it’s a change that hasn’t been put in the description but, the mod doesn’t change the Brotherhood Scribes to mechanicums, instead they are wearing Solar Auxilia armor.

      actually your right that needs to be modified. the Mechanicum kept causing crashes and broke the mod so as of now their removed entirely when i get home / access to my computer ill update the description. i appreciate you pointing that out

    ok things ive noticed while playing with this mod:
    -the raider chaos marines are always called "raiders", meaning they have really low health and have the vanilla base health of normal raiders

    -now i play with the waaaagh mod cause i love killing orkz for the Emperors will, but i dont like that you replaced them in quest spawns with the raider chaos marines.
    i understand you guys want them out for lore reasons but it kinda kills it for me, immersion wise.

    -60% of the time the lancer knights armour become purple like a missing texture

    -even with the screenshots of danse in relic armour, for me he was in his regular t 60 suite, idk if its an actual thing but its what ive noticed

    -the vertibirds are also buggy from my experience, sometimes ill get animation locked when getting in and i cant do anything after words like open pip boy or open doors, i also noticed that the vertibird has a chance to not spawn during the fort strong quest

    before i end off i kinda wanna suggest 2 things, is it possible to add in random battle encounters for both raiders and synths against the BOS and for the last thing, again if its possible, retexture the prydwen and the vertibirds WH40K style so it suites the mod

      thank you for letting us know, as one of the main dev working on the mod, i understand that you hate having to fight chaos marines instead of orks, but unfortunally the ork presence in 30k its really limited at least that what i have been told by our head lore guy, also we going to buff raiders hp a bit more we still in beta and still testing stuff and additions, we are currently on a break because of the festive season, so everyone its really busy, if you join our discord and have suggestions, you can post them in the suggestion tab. also yes it is possible to add random battle encounters thats one of the thing we going to work on as soon we are back, for the retexture part i cant say, because im not the guy that makes textures and models but i think it should in theory be possible.

      1. -the raider chaos marines are always called "raiders", meaning they have really low health and have the vanilla base health of normal raiders
      the main problem with touching their heals (which is why we havent atm) is due to them being in power armor 24/7 (usually unless the animation problem occurs) they have tremendous DT (Dmg threshold) if we were to make their health bigger it would make the fights longer/harder but not for the reason our team would like. as italian said were all away on break for the holidays atm and the last update was alotta work due to a problem child we keep having to remove from the mod (dam toaster lords) because they keep breaking things

      2. you like the waaaagh mod cause you love killing orkz for the Emperors will
      Oarks did not have any real presence up until POST 32k and there fore will not be in the mod. the time line were sticking to strongly for this mod is the end of the heresy start point istvan III and end point being siege of tera that is the window we are using for lore for this mod

      3. -60% of the time the lancer knights armour become purple like a missing texture
      as was told to you before your welcome to join our discord we have about 30 ish testers and this is the first time hearing this issue and neither the team or our testers have run into it personally

      4. -even with the screenshots of danse in relic armour, for me he was in his regular t 60 suite. 
      that is because 1 of 2 reasons 1) you are using the last version there was a bug blame the toaster lords. 2) your load order is wrong. our mod needs to be loaded AFTER space maring and relic space maring made by meta king

      5. -the vertibirds are also buggy from my experience
      welcome to bethesda spagethi code. thats has to do with the PLAYER in PA interacting with a vertibird. thats code and script in the base game and something we havent touched yet so i cant help you much there except for sayin sve often especially if your near DC

      6a. add in random battle encounters for both raiders and synths against the BOS
      thats the plan were just not at that stage yet

      6b. retexture the prydwen and the vertibirds WH40K style so it suites the mod
      again thats the plan but with this one its considerably more advanced and in depth due to needing to make NEW models and nav mesh everything
      hell a helmet (we still havent added yet) from scratch that we made for the auxilia took 4 - 6 months to fully finish up.

    Hi, hi! I am fairly new to adding mods to my games so I'm not sure if I have to go to the files to do anything and even if I did I wouldn't know what to do. Everyone in the BoS has either the SM armor or normal BoS power armor. The Synths and Raiders have SM power armor but none of the factions are using any loyalist or traitor paint jobs. I was wondering how to fix this cause I do enjoy this mod as I am a massive fan of the HH. Also I don't know who I have to bribe to get the different patterns of Space Marine armor like the MK 3, 4, 5 and 6 but I would love to see those ones as well! It would definitely be a cool addition to the Heresy mod. Any help on how to fix the factions having their respective paint jobs would be appreciated.       first things first make sure our mod is loaded AFTER its requirements

      as for the armors the team is working on making the armors but no one that knows how to add in custom PA is willing to teach anyone so were learning it as we go and trying to teach ourselfs

    I used to have assets which turned BoS barricades into imperium barricades, the BoS flag into the IoM flag, BoS combat armour symbols into the imperial aquila, Gunner barricades into chaos barricades, etc., if i can recreate those OR find those files i'll dm download links to you via Nexus Mods or Discord

      I just decided to redo the textures all together, I'll test them to see if they work as intended, where should I send the files if they're good to go? it's like 5 mb since it's only minor changes such as changing decals of armours, barricades, flags, gunner grafiti, etc.

    =====MOD UPDATE=====


    10/30/23

    We are currently putting together everything to release a new version of the mod. in this new version because we did not have a save point from before we implemented the 1st half of the beta so part of the beta which is done will be added to the public release early. in this update the Solar auxilia are added to the mod but they ARE NOT finished as of release of version 0.8.5a but they will be finished soon this new update will be released within the next few days.

    this new update will have the Ad Mech removed due to a Fatal error they caused in the previous version that we didnt catch until a couple months AFTER we Posted the public release so we apologize for not catching the error sooner

    This is really awesome and deserves more love.

    I do have a question. Is it a simple replacer package that just uses what is available on the nexus already and overhauls the factions or are there extra weapon and armors here?

    I know I could download it and look it up in FO4Edit but for internet 3.4 GB is an investment. And I'm personally not a fan of overhauling those factions anyway. In that case does it just use the stuff from 30K armors and makes the factions use the items or it has new stuff?

    Would appreciate if you have a more detailed post about what it adds or just a simple answer to my question.

      well for now it has basic stuff, that are found on the nexus, but we are working on implementing a 30k armor, for now the works its on stall, because of serius healt issue with the main model maker so we are hoppying he feel okay, before continuing work, but in the works we have already a few new weapons, a few new npc stuff, and a few bug fixes in testing.

      That's great. Good luck with that, hope it turns out well.

      If I may suggest. Release standalone version of the newer items without changing or replacing anything. Many people, not just me, would rather not to replace almost the entire game. But also would like the cool new items. On your end it's easier to isolate the newer items and release them separately. But for us that would mean getting the entire download, time and internet, then going to the CK or XEdit then try to only keep the new items. That's a headache. Just a suggestion though.

      i agree it'd be easier in the short term but then if issues arise from the standalone packs, the issues are multiplied a bunch as all the packs would need to be updated.

      I cant say if we would do something like that in the future but we'll be sure to let everyone know if we do!

      It would actually be easier since the standalone pack would only be those items.

      However the full replacer would involve a crapton spread over the entire game.

      Like you meet a BoS character that is broken or a part of a quest is broken and you have the mod installed that could be a part of it. But just items are easier to handle. That's from my own modding experience though. Could be wrong

      stuff like say a quest broken or texture weird we or all the things your listing we dont re release the whole mog for things like that we have a discord for that and then we release a hot fix here which is a files pathed exactly the same way as the mod and just pop in the fixes stuff their usually rediciously small. but with a stand alone varients its alot more work then u expect because their meant to be used together once we balance one thing if its in a bad spot we then have to go though every other one and balance them all accordingly. as it is now its hard enough balancing it on the same spectrum haha but we will definately take it into consideration to release our teams works as smaller stand alones too but atm were mainly focused on the main mod

    I will try this mod out today. Just a heads up if someone runs into the same issue as i. MO2 could not extract the files via mod manager download, but worked fine with manual download. Dont know what was the issue . Time to purge the heretic!
