   I really like this, I always felt that weapon was "too good" to be using .38... Having it use a slightly rarer ammo type for it is really a huge plus.

      Sad thing is, other than .357 Magnum it's about all it can shoot.   Too weak of an action.
      1892 and 1894 are what you want to fire .44 Magnum.

   I've never had a problem with the .44 conversion? I'm wondering what the problem is? I use this weapon a lot.

      In very simple terms, in the original mod, in the newest version, the .44 receiver is flagged for ADD instead of SET in the ammo change, thus not making the gun truly change to .44. This mod changes that flag to SET as well as an optional munitions patch.
