Still working in 2024. Installed mod and it immediately fixed Diamond City Radio! Thank you very much!

As the main mod recently got updated: Is this fix still necessary?

Yes and no. Updating from an earlier version to 5.0+ in the main mod still won't fix it. The built in feature though should make it so that for any future updates you won't need this.

So if you're on 5.0.x and it's currently working, this isn't needed. If you're updating, you might have use of it.

Ok, thank you very much for this fast feedback! This means a lot if you are currently working on your modlist!

Have a nice christmas time and a happy new year!

So atleast in my set up this mod still was necessary. (It was a fresh install) Diamond City Radio did not play at all without this mod.

      Thank you @Exoclyps!

Did you start a new save? Or on an ongoing save.

As it might still be needed on an ongoing save, true.

Oh that might be the case, as i added the main mod after starting a new (test) run.

can soft-confirm this, installed on current save and it didn't play. almost ignored the mod but I wanted more variety, so i found this fix. still works, and is very appreciated.

Updated to 1.1.0 adding a check against the version feature in 5.0.x of the original mod. Essentially will restart it one last time if radio didn't properly update itself to version 5.

Also fixed an error in the code that'd sometimes make it so that running "FixRadio" wouldn't work.

Some reason my new character has no DCE despite this fix. Tried the console command too.

edit: had to stop and start the diamondcityradio quest to get it to finally kick off. Fallout 4 troubles, am I right? lol

Thanks, spent some time today trying to figure out why Diamond City Radio has been silent for a while and this fixed it.

    Thanks for the comments.

This is a very simple lightweight mod that runs a quest that restarts the Diamond City Radio.
Then it set itself in a "stopquest" stage where you can easily write "runquest FixRadio" and it'll do it all over if needed.

As for other stations. Those would have to to specifically patched for to fix.

Nice to see TommInfinite's SUP F4SE put to good use. (Unless the resource was not used in which case I deeply apologize!)
