Update 18.02.2025: New update is here. Right now, it's not compatible with the two optional versions. Please report any issues, wouldn't be surprised if I fucked something up again.
Hey, loved your work, made the gun a lot better. However, the STS scopes all function as reflex sights. Both in how much it zooms and also in the bonus it offers. Don't know if it's a bug on my side, or if it's a general thing...
It's not about the overlay, I know the difference between the normal scope and the STS versions. The issue is with the magnification and the statistics provided. when i attach the x12 "normal" scope, i have a "long scope" magnification and statistics (accuracy, for example), but when i attach the x12 STS version, the magnification is the same as a reflex sight, as are the statistics.
I discovered what is the issue. i decided to mess around in FO4Edit, the ZoomDataFOVMult was set to 2.000000. changing it to 4.000000 solved the issue. at least the magnification one. the differences in stats are still there, and i have no idea how to edit that.
also, for some reason, when i remove the STS versions (like attaching a new scope) the STS version disapears and i have to build a new one. all other sights continue there, available for you to simply re-attach them to the weapon, or attach it on a different one. the x12 STS and the x12 wood STS versions don't... weird.
As I built this mainly for my personal use, some of these are built with other mods I use in mind. In this case, I am using the fine zoom mod that lets me zoom in on scopes. Sounds like you were able to fix this one in xedit for your personal taste.
If you or someone else is looking for an ingame method, Danks ECO comes with tools that let you change the default zoom level on scopes.
As for sharing images, you can upload them on some images side and then paste them here using the insert image option like this:
For convenience, here is an example of what you can do with Eco
So you could have it be 4 times by default for example:
As for the second problem, I think I know whats wrong here, but I dont currently have access to the CK to fix it - I seem to have created only one misc mod for both the STS and the vanilla version of those scopes. That might be why its not working properly.
I upgraded to the latest version, and for some reason none of the attachments show up. When I go into the console and search for M72 attachments, only the base mod upgrades show up. None of the uniques exist in the world either. I've double checked and the mod is enabled. I downgraded back to the .96b version of the mod, and everything shows up properly.
I looked at the old files and compared it to the new ones, seems like I forgot to include the base mod esp. I honestly cannot even remember why it's needed because I worked on this long time ago. Maybe the second plugin is only needed for the additional archives. I will upload the missing file once I am home from work. Hopefully it's going to work then.
Not op, but I think I can answer. In FOLON's case it's part of their "LondonWorldSpace.esm" file. Therefor if you use your mod, you'd get into trouble because it needs the original .esp as a master.
Right now it's not likely because I am lacking the time. Need to make sure that the base version works and then I'd have to look up again what was necessary to make these versions.
This looks fantastic! Makes an already great weapon mod even better. I also love the armor in the screenshots. Is that from a mod available on the Nexus, or is it private?
That is an older version of a nifbashed armor I made for myself. I cannot upload that one sadly because it uses tons of other peoples stuff that I dont even remember anymore including lots of ported content. Also the current version doesnt even really look like this anymore 😅
1. I have the main file enabled, but I also have optional files but I disabled them to see if ether worked... it didn't. 2. I have M72, See Thru, and West Tek Optics on. Do i need to download a earlier version to see if it works?

At least if I understand you correctly, could you share a screenshot of it?

about the screenshots, how would i share it?

Sorry for the f*#@ up.
I don't think I even touched leveled lists at all.
Do you have the esp enabled that comes with this mod?
Do you have the correct files downloaded?
Also, do you have the original mod?
