Not sure if you're aware of them, but Fr4nsson's Light Tweaks, Darker Nights, and FogOut do a pretty great job of killing a lot of BethSoft's unnecessary extra lighting. Combine those with your ENB/ReShade preset/s of your choice along with Legendary Lamps, and you're all set
Yes, I am aware of those mods and have tried a few but those mods didn't fix the gamma correction in game. The gamma correction in this game is pretty high compared to other games and there is not option to change it. The main goal of this preset was to lower the gamma correction and make things darker. The light tweaks and darker nights would probably look even better with a lower gamma correction.
To be fairly honest vanilla gamma is spot on. Walk around in the daylight and look at shadows on a sunny day in your city and see they are in fact not pitch black. A lot of settings on here (even from Skyrim) for some reason are all obsessed with pitch black shadows in the middle of the day with a crazy bright sun (which does not make any sense to have black shadows).
This is just a thought of the day and not really a "pick on you" sort of thing. Hope no offense is taken.

um. ok.
hope it didn't take you too long.
I'll wait till Boris ENB handles day/night, much better then a fixed value.
