I was using your mod in my previous game, and everything worked fine. So I reinstalled the game to be able to use this mod: Clean and flat settlements I hope it's compatible.
I don't know if you're taking requests, but it would be wonderful if your mod worked with this: Workshop in Diamond City
I wanted to take Nat out of there and send her to live with her sister, there's a mod in the Nexus that does this, but it's buggy and just causes problems. If your mod could be used in this settlement to manage some NPCs (especially Nat), it would be wonderful.
Functionally, what IS the different between ESP-flagged-ESL, and straight up ESL? is there any reason/situation for picking one over the other? (I've been assuming they're pretty much interchangeable.)
If the ESL's are not working, than I doubt the ESPs would. ESPs that are ESL flagged apparently have issues in Virtual. I have never modded for virtual so I cannot say as I am surprised there might be issues running this mod in it.
V1.12 did some testing and had a few settlers not getting set in BH and Covenant, figured out needed some error handling code.
Also discovered a lot of named NPC settlers are missing the a property to allow them to harvest 6 food, added that in as well.
Lastly, this is embarrassing, thought I has set the ESP to ESL flagging, nope V1.0 does not have it. So its now actually ESL flagged. I was using the ESL version for my testing.
I just tested and had the kids in the above settlement using different SS2 plots. Boy was a caravanner and girl was a using a municipal hospital plot. Actually used the button I built into Somerville Place but this mod is like the industrial version of my individual settlement toggle buttons.
As a caravanner the boy didn't say anything but my dialogue options like travel and such popped up.

As mentioned in description, moving Named NPC settlers or making them provisioners could disrupt quests!
Make sure you have completed any quests prior to trying to update or move certain settlers.
