For those who still use this mod: Install via Vortex and select the color that you want (throght Vortex) Then go to Fallout4Custom.ini located in the My Games folder (C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\My Games\Fallout4). If you don't have a Fallout4Custom.ini file you can create it, just create a txt file with that name and then change the file type to .ini
In the Fallout4Custom.ini file add the lines under the [Display] secction:
These lines are for changing the Power Armor Pipboy color. The values will depend on the color you chose when you installed the mod (you can see the values for each color when you install the mod with Vortex). If there is no [Pipboy] secction on your Fallout4Custom.ini file, you can just write it like this:
I know this mod is not that hard to install, but it was a little hard for me because I am not that good at installing mods, so I am leaving this comment in case someone needs a little help.
This mod does not play nice AT ALL with vortex. There are instructions that are located in a file that vortex DOES NOT download. I downloaded the file manually and extracted the missing folder into the folder that vortex installed it to. Inside the new folder is a xml file that contains the necessary instructions to make the mod usable.
TL;DR:
Add these lines to Documents\my games\Fallout4\Fallout4.ini [Pipboy] fPAEffectColorR=0 fPAEffectColorG=1 fPAEffectColorB=1
Also in the same ini file change "sResourceDataDirsFinal=strings\" to "sResourceDataDirsFinal=strings\, textures\, meshes\, scripts\, sound\, music\, misc\, shadersfx\, interface\"
For anyone who wants to see letters etc in Power Armor Pip Boy change those lines: fPipboyScreenEmitIntensityPA=fPipboyScreenDiffuseIntensityPA=You can take those values:fPipboyScreenEmitIntensity=1.2500fPipboyScreenDiffuseIntensity=0.150 These are from default Pip Boy and lets you see something not like default PA verision.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong here the main hud is still Amber but my compass and menu are the right blue colors I want but the HP/AP, etc are still all yellow. Could someone help? I know this is a really old thread, thanks.

fPipboyScreenEmitIntensityPA=1.2500
fPipboyScreenDiffuseIntensityPA=0.150
These are for making the Power Armor Pipboy less brightful.
Also add these lines under [Pipboy] secction:
fPAEffectColorB=1.0
fPAEffectColorG=0.0
fPAEffectColorR=0.0

an addendum to changing the Pipboy color
you can find a more accurate number in the "Fallout4Prefs.ini" to match your in game menu.
just click "ctrl+f" and type in "fModMenuEffectColorB"
for example when i followed your tips it made the hud blue, but Pip Boy and Compass dark blue for some reason.
but putting the accurate values from the Prefs.ini:
fModMenuEffectColorB=1.0000
fModMenuEffectColorG=0.9900
fModMenuEffectColorR=0.0050
i was able to change it to light blue. hope this helps others.
have u ever tried to install it?
