What's the difference between this and Outline Workshop Highlight?

This is inverted, so in vanilla when you look at an object, you dont see the green overlay, but you will when you pick up the item. This mod reverses that. So you see the green overlay when you look at it, but you will when you pick up the item. :)

Not working for me on latest FO4 update, have used it in the past. Highlighted objects are still fully shaded.

Sorry for the late reply.. the latest game version is v1.10.163 and it came out in 2019 so the mod is compatible with it. Did you try deactivating/reactivating the mod through the commands?

Man, I'm so glad to have found this. Every time I place crafted something I had to partially clip it through another surface to get the shader to disappear so I could see how it looks.

Any chance for an outline-only version? Don't know if it's possible but it would be very cool

Is it possible to have both modes be outline-only? Wonderful mod either way, it's so annoying to have that really obstructive filter when you're trying to place things, this is certainly an improvement.

Ah, pity. Thanks for the mod, it's definitely going in my next playthrough, which will hopefully happen before Half Life 3 drops...

An outline-only version has since been made.

Is there a way to make both looking at and moving apply the rim shader vs the full? Great mod either way.

Not sure if you're still interested or if you already found it, but you can find an outline-only version here.

I use mods from the ingame thingy but couldn't find your mod there, so I wondering if I can download it from here and use it without messing up the other mods? Is it possible to install mods from different "mod managers"?
Dunno if I'm making any sense :P

I long long time ago had dreamed a modder also remove the ugly green tint on vats

Then you woke up and realized that you were actually living in the nightmare? WHERE THE HIDEOUS GREEN TINT WAS STILL A REALITY?!?!?!?!

Dammit zed! I came specifically looking for a mod with this outline effect but in vats. I have found nothing and your comment cements my belief that there isn't one. It is a sad day indeed...

Can it be safely removed after stopping the quest?

Yes, I designed the quest shutdown to make mod removal as safe as possible. (Of course mods were never really meant to be removed officially but probably it won't cause any issues).

Both can be used simultaneously. Crafting Highlight Fix for Workbenches, this one for the Workshop Highlight.
