cool mod, it reminds me of the old skyrim mod power workstation, that was deleted by the author for some odd reason.
anyway it would be cool if you didn't need the physical workstation at all, so all the player needed to do was use the hotkey to open it up and do their thing at will without needing to worry about how much weight the thing is or as physical item in their inventory.
I think there's a misunderstanding here. The answer to the question is: Yes, if you enter the workbenches in 1st person with the animation replacer used by this mod, you won't be set back to 1st person after exiting the workbench. It'll stay in 3rd person because vanilla behaviour includes the use of the FurnitureForce3rdPerson keyword. The vanilla guard post animation used here doesn't have a perspective check and toggle built in like workbench animations do.
