It doesn't just cast its own lens flares, it not only uses a spotlight instead of 360 sphere light, its a 1:1 immersion making light that comes from your very own Pip-Boys Screen!

True Pip-Boy Light adds in lens flares and new gobo textures to the Pip-Boy light, while also modifying it from an omnidirectional light to a spotlight with a Shadow and Non Shadow versions and variable degrees of brightness and range with them.
With v2 it now also includes some subtle animation while in 1st person and a new option of making the light offset or not.
v3 now also includes an optional Power Armor Light Overhaul that adds in new light offsets for X-01, T-51 and Raider power armor, a new Gobo texture for X-01 and new light ranges with Shadow and Non Shadow versions.
Known bug: If you change helmets from or to X-01 while wearing the power armor it will disable the Gobo texture and the color of the light.
Fix: Just exit and re-enter the power armor and it should fix its self.
Disclaimer:
The mod won't work with any pre existing pip-boy replacers or any that effect PipboyLowPlayer.nif mesh whatsoever and a patch will be required to make it work.
I don't know if it works with Fallout 4 VR since I don't have the required gear to do so, but if anyone is willing to test if it works vanilla or only with mods, I'll gladly update the classification.
I did not add a God Rays or an option for it due to the fact they don't get effected by gobo textures. So a circular god ray and a square spotlight don't really fit with each other. But I could change it in the future if it is requested enough.
Credit where credit is due, I was inspired by AKcelsior's work on Pip-Boy Flashlight, but it was simply too immersion breaking for me. So I made my own mod to make it closer to how a Pip-Boy is supposed to act, actually lighting up from its screen.
