The original mod triggers multiple errors when open in the CK, and Wrye Bash says it has HITME issues, I tried fixing it to no avail. Did you fix it in this mod? Thanks.
Edit: Nevermind, managed to fix. Was forgetting to save in the CK both the Pistol and the Pistol animations by Wardaddy ESPs.
Well, there's a handful of issues reported for the original Mauser Pistol listed on the 'Bugs' section, one reported three times about the weapon being invisible.
My best guess is they have either installed the mod incorrectly, or they have some kind of incompatibility. I have not experienced any of the issues listed in the bugs section of the original mod.
I am very interested in exploring more calibres, and had originally planned to include at least a few, but decided to focus on the two versions I have for now. I haven't gotten around to trying Munitions yet, as it came out a few days after starting my current playthrough and I'm not sure how it will interact with an existing save. Even so, it's something I will almost certainly look in to, as I had originally planned to include at least a 9mm receiver, and possibly .45 ACP, but the C96 came in a lot of different chamberings, so the possibilities are vast!
Haha yeah, ngl I spent about 5 minutes trying to come up with a thumbnail, and then gave up. But I use heaps of Codeblackcrash's mods and it's what comes to mind whenever I think of unofficial updates, so I figured I'd steal stick with the theme.
@codeblackcrash: Would you be willing to do $200,000 and a few toes? Otherwise I can change the image (seriously though, if it's a problem I'll change it immediately, I'm actually pretty embarrassed that I got caught immediately lol. Love your work!)
@CruduxCru0: This was originally the plan (which I'm still still tempted to do), but as I decided to upload two separate versions (Mauser and Chinese Pistol) I figured it would be a nightmare to also manage additional versions with/without 9mm requirements. I most certainly ripped off "took creative inspiration" from a number of similar thumbnails from mods I liked. Hell, if I can find them, I'd be happy to send over the .psd files I used for my older thumbnails, if you'd be interested.
Like I said, I'm super happy to see other folks taking a swing at some of these mods that need a little bit of love. I'm more than happy to share resources, tips, ideas, anything like that, so feel free to hit me up!
