What all people trying this out should know: The pipboy does not like stereo files. So all files you intend to play on your pipboy, like custom radio stations and these here holo-mixtapes should be converted to mono beforehand (with audacity or one of the myriad simple converters out there). Experienced this with numerous radio mods on Fallout 4 and the old ones (FO3/FNV). Forgot to mono-ize my wavs or xmws before adding to radio folder --> game lagged.
Sadly, even that won't fix the problems this mod's got. Hey@SomberX, if ya read this, maybe considers giving this here little gem up for adoption if ya ain't got the time to fix it. The idea is great, but I could not make it work; still plays a few songs good, then tries to play all at once.
That's the size of it, it should be given to another author as it looks like he delta'd out of here. No single new mod or update since 2016 so it says this mod is pretty much dead in the water.
I've done investigation into the mod author and yeah it seems like you are right, it seems he tried his hands at making this mod but then quit the modding scene and moved on to something else so our only hope is some other modder will be interested in this enough to take it up and make the necessary fixes for this to work.
Mixtapes tbh is very much like how real music for anything non-mainstream/commerialized was done in the 20th century. That's how most of the punk underground operated before the internet existed or rather before there was Wikipedia to inform us about punk rock culture. Do make the necessary fixes to this mod however as we will clearly have to undergo proper procedures to make tracks listenable from holotape.
