I had to force stop the game after sitting in a chair and reload a previous save., It was not a built chair but an existing patio chair, and pressing the esc button would not back out of the face menu so I could exit, wasnt going to change anything but was testing it out. Also, all I could see was the back of my character, cool animation with the mirror though.
Will it work if you command/assign a companion or settler to sit in the chair, similar to how in the console you can do slm on a NPC and change their appearances? Excellent idea though! very immersive!
Ah i just took a peak at the source code, doesnt look like it handles it. Is it possible though or did you run into technical issues when attempting to?
No. Companions ignore these chairs: you can't command them to use them (they'd say something like "Can't do it.") and they don't use them while sandboxing either.
Would it be possible to allow them to use them in as a future update? I like that they don't sandbox to them but it'd be cool to command them to use it so you can do looksmenu on npcs as well :)
Using custom camera setting have that effect on vanilla barber and surgery chair. Barber and Surgery Camera Fix might correct your problem if that is your case.
Is anyone having an issue of only being able to see the back of your character's head when you use this? I'm using the .ESL version and will download and try the .ESP version to see if something in my load order might be causing it.
If this plays well alongside regular LooksMenu mode and the mod to rotate the standing one, that would be great. One time (this most recent run, in fact) I started to do slm 14 after the character generation to apply tats (as one does) and the reposition triggered the character choice option of Start Me Up. It's also genuinely difficult to do the legs, just as it's damn hard to do the back without the rotation mod. So the added positions would be a great boon, indeed.
Thanks for not laughing at me too hard...
As an afterthought, can you get others to use the furniture pieces and thus edit them?
It's compatible with LooksMenu that's for sure but I haven't tested it with the other one so I don't know. NPCs can't use LooksMenu Furnitures. Applying tattos might be easier to do in the Creation Kit though.

Can I ask about the location in the pics, I love the walls and furniture, is it a player home mod, or a workshop mod? Cheers.
