This mod is so underrated. Adding so many useless but cool details and small locations.
Could have been easily part of the base game, it blends so nicely.

So I have a problem I have this and all the other "Open (insert location name here)" mods installed along with "Ceft's Main File" mod and I can't get into any of the buildings, the original buildings models are still there so the textures/models overlap. I can interact with some of the buildings that have front doors and when I no-clip in everything is there like it's suppose to, but since the original house model is still there I can't enter any buildings. Any help would be great.

I'm experiencing annoying textures bugs, Lexington is the only town I visited so far and when I disable this mod it gets fixed, can anyone help me recognizing which mod is conflicting? The list is below.

I like it, however, it can cause an unremovable floor to exist above an interior staircase if used with other Lexington mods.

This and your other Open mods cause a lot of flickering in their respective areas, and yes I've got the Ceft file. What am I doing wrong? I'm not using previsibines repair pack.

Are you using a texture overhaul pack?  Or one that changes the area with trees and such?

i always hated how like 80% of buildings in the game in general are boarded up and inaccessible thank you, hope you got more locations in mind

they made that for performance reason. making all buildings accessible would end in a unplayable game.

Shouldn't modding the game by making many of these areas accessible render the game unplayable and affect performance as well? But here we are with seemingly no issues.

Exactly, and the build team could have done it like that in the first place. Comes a time you have to accept they pushed out a quick job knowing full well we'd mod the Hell out of it (which we have!)

Are you dense? This game released on last gen consoles back in 2015.

Exactly. We've got a bit better hardware nowadays to handle the extra load.

Even though last gen consoles weren't very good, Fallout 4 in general wasn't a really well optimized game to begin with.
      Especially regarding those shadows.

yes...ps4 had mediocre hardware to begin with but fo4 optimization was trash...my 3060ti still struggles on downtown boston without tweaking shadow settings

Yeah, to everyone saying there's no FPS loss you're just wrong. I lose 15-25 in Lexington even with the PRP patch.

I tried this out not knowing what to expect, and ended up having one of the most exciting, free-flowing gunfights I'd ever experienced in FO4! The new areas allowed for entirely new and novel enemy placement, and I often had no idea of where enemies were sniping at me from. I was forced to keep moving from room to room as raiders took potshots at me from all sorts of new locations, and a well-placed sentry gun even mowed me down when I got careless. At one point I was making a, uh, "tactical withdrawal" from some heavily armoured goons when I backed into a pack of ghouls. I am not embarassed to say that I literally jumped out off of a ledge and broke my leg to get away from them. Paired with an improved enemy AI, this mod makes Lexington a very dangerous area indeed!

10/10 would take a headshot again
