About this mod

Completely refurbished Marlborough House to be a three story settlement interior cell. Meant as a Player/Companion home, But has no restrictions to build stores or plants like Homeplate.

Marlborough House is a luxurious interior, nice for a home. Unfortunately, the upper floor was collapsed.
So, I channeled my inner Bob The Builder, ripped out the collapsed upper floor, restored it and added a whole new floor.

Ground Floor:
  • Added a bathroom behind a door.
  • Added a Vault style water fountains as 20 Water resource. Also fills bottles with refined water in survival.
  • Made fridge a 20 Food source, also still a container. Probably a bad idea to add stuff in it, cause it may restock with new food. MAY. Not sure.

Second Floor:
  • Completely restored
  • Removed walls it previously had, just using a railing now.
  • Added weapon workbench.
  • Added 200 Power switchbox, which radiates through the entire building.
  • Workshop Workbench is a fancy wooden table, not the big chunky red workbench. Looks way sexier this way.
  • Added Master locked door to Third floor.

Third Floor:
  • Entirely new floor
  • Has a bed with two mattresses.
  • Has a wall safe.
  • Has another bathroom.
  • Has a corpse of a guy.
  • Has a Diary Terminal belonging to the dead guy, just for a little head canon, self insertion stuff. IDK, was bored.
  • Has containers for dirty pre-war clothes.

Other stuff:
  • All the dirt and debris can be cleaned at once. Because its a static collection. To the left of the Workbench on the floor is a good place to select it and scrap all of that. So your new fancy schmancy house is actually clean.
  • It counts as a perfectly normal settlement. You can send caravans to it, send settlers (most importantly your companions) to the house.

WARNING:
Sometimes some weird LOD debris shows up on the stair to the third floor, or clipping into the wall to the left of the large bed.
I do not know how or why that appears. But I figured out that once it is there, it won't go away or change its position.
So you may have to save the game before entering the building, then enter it and check if the weird LOD mesh (seen in last image) appears or not.
If it does appear, reboot the game and reload the save before entering the home. Check if this thing appears again, until it doesn't appear inside the building anymore.
Sorry for the inconvenience. I wish I knew the fix, but sadly I do not.
