I would have to make the list listening to each one of them and their original version in MP3, since when I transferred them to the format in which it is now, the names of each song were lost. They are mostly those made by Ennio Morricone. When I am full of patience and time I will make the list... Sorry for that, friend! Greetings.
I'd like to have this radio but i got no sound when selected, other custom radios works. probably because of the files being xvm, how can i open thoses ? tank you.
Hello... XWM is the standard format used by the game, that wouldn't be the problem. What must be happening is some kind of incompatibility with another Custom Radio you are already using. This Radio works with the mod "Standalone PipPOD" from the user "junior99au". This mod occupies the path "Data\sound\fx\mus\radio\PersonalRadio", if another mod occupies this same path, it will conflict. On the other hand, verifying I have seen that the creator of the mod details on the page of his mod, in case there is this problem, he says the following: "Bug: PipPOD only plays silence (Fix - Uninstall PipPOD, Make a Clean Save, then Reinstall PipPOD)" And also, I personally recommend installing it with a mod manager. Unfortunately, not being the creator of this mod, I can't give more support to your mod due to ignorance of it. I've only used your mod to assemble my radio. But I think I hope that information will help you. Keep me informed of what happens and I'll see what else I can help you with, especially if you've solved it, I'll be happy for you. Greetings and happy next year!
yes, i uninstalled, made a new save then reinstalled and it works. it was working the first time i installed it, i think the cause of the bug is that i uninstalled another custom radio meanwhile, even though it didn't use the same path for folders. thanks for answering me , happy new year !
You can change the Radio's name by editing this line here.
EDIT: Also, the audio output is far too loud, needs to be about 30-40% lower. I normalized the levels myself so let me know if you want me to send you the edited sound files.
Thank you very much, you have helped me! There I have made the update so that the name of my radio appears in Pip-Boy. Regarding the volume... I know it's at its maximum volume, but what I advise is to lower the volume of the radio from the game settings. Thank you very much for your help and advice, I hope you enjoy the mod!!!
If you lower the volume using the Radio audio slider, it will make the other Radio stations too quiet. That's why it's so important to "normalize" audio levels based on a single audio setting, it keeps things consistent.
Here, these are the audio files with normalized audio levels that should be more or less consistent with the vanilla Radio stations.
As for the mod, I love the song selection. It's exactly what I was looking for.
Good! I have already normalized the volume of the songs. I've tested it in the game and I think it's fine, it seemed fine to me as it is now. Unfortunately I have not been able to use your files because I have observed that when compared with those of this mod they had much less MB, which means that they are with a higher compression and consequently lower audio quality. So, if you want, lower the Mod again to make the sound better. When converting them from WAV to XWM I have used a compression quality of 192 kbs. The maximum that the "MultiXwm 2.3" software allows me. Greetings and I really appreciate the help you have given me to significantly improve the Mod. I hope you enjoy it friend.
The reason why my files take less space is because I converted them to MP3s instead of WAV. The quality should be pretty much the same. I tested both your files and mine and I can't hear a difference. But do what you want, I'm glad I could help either way.
Ok, I've uploaded it again. Possibly it was an error during the upload since I checked the same file on my PC and it works! Thank you very much for notifying and sorry for the inconvenience. If you could confirm that now if it works for you, you would help me as you have already done, thanks again!
