Yes you are right. In the USSR, this light machine gun was called the 27th model. But in Europe and the USA, for some reason, it is called the 28th model. But this is one weapon. On a Russian resource, I would call it the 27th model. But here I called it a more familiar name for a resident of Europe or the USA.
Genuinely impressed at the quality of the old "Record Player" as the Russian troops used to call it. Last time I used it in a game was CoD: World at War back in '08 and I can still remember the distinctive "pop" noise it made when firing it.
