Decided to leave a little FAQ in the most prominent place. Questions that are answered either on the mod page or in this pinned comment, will be ignored.
Q: I had/am currently using a previous version of the mod installed. What should I do? A: Uninstall it via mod manager, then open the game and make a clean save without the installed mod. For manual uninstallation, open Fallout4 Data folder and delete PMC Operators Pack.esp, PMC Operators Pack - Main.ba2 and PMC Operators Pack - Textures.ba2 files. If you have previously unpacked ba2 archives, you need to delete PMC Operators Pack.esp and the following folders: materials/meshes/textures - Fafny stash - The Mercenary Grip
Q: Mods that added stuff from this pack to factions don't work. A: Of course they don't. The mod was redone from scratch, old models, textures and materials are not left, old faction mods are not compatible with the new version of the mod. You can contact authors and ask them to make an update.
Q: Is CBBE required for the mod to work? A: Nope, but it is recommended if you plan to play as female characters and don't want mismatched textures and sliders.
Q: [insert any question about patches here] A: There is a large information block dedicated to patches on the mod page.
Q: Can you make it compatible with [mod name]? A: Nope. I have provided a clothing pack. It's arranged as intended and customized to match vanilla Fallout 4 to avoid any bugs. However, I don't mind if compatibility patches are made on my mods. I won't be doing it myself, nor do I plan to. If you need compatibility with a particular mod, ask the author of that mod to make a patch.
Q: Why do some parts of the Modern Military Pack and PMC Operators Pack clip? A: Because it's impossible to make perfect 100% compatibility. If only because MMP uses a jacket that is thicker and wider than the G3 jacket from PMC. Plate carriers and headgear are fully compatible, as are backpacks. The rest of the clipping and minor flaws you can correct at your discretion in OustfitStudio yourself.
Q: What is the name of the preset in the screenshot? A: Which one? The author is indicated under each screenshot. Please specify the screenshot number and the author's name at once in questions like this. If the author reads the comments and considers it necessary, he or she will answer your question about the preset or other modifications used. I can't help you here.
Q: Can you add this/can you remove that? A: Do it yourself
Looks like I have to go to all the trouble of adding a .dds plugin to GIMP just to select a flag for a patch. A flag that was in the old version. If you're so concerned about having to do so many flags how about leaving out all the shithole countries which should only leave a few.
UPDATE: After adding the .dds plugin I still can't open the template file because GIMP does not support BC7 formatted files. All this f*#@ing work because the dev doesn't want his mod used for politics. Sounds like a nominee for r/AssholeDesign
UPDATE: After copying the British flag from the original PMC mod and renaming it Empty_.D.dds and pasting that over the template file, the result is a blank patch in the game. I am playing FOLON hence the British patch. Clearly something changed in this version of POP making the old flags blank. How about adding instructions for how to convert the template file into a flag because all I see in Paint is black, brown, and transparent rectangles with no explanation as to why they are there or what they are for.
okay, so I have spoken to HER, She is very polite and nice, And it's not rocket science how to make it work, I Did it with GIMP No Problem, and I woulda of helped you on how to do it if you didn't insult FafnyB But since ya did and decided to be rude, Figure it out yourself.
